Testnet forked without issues so the fork's block height on the main net is firm.
~
Yeah. Perfect fork for Sumokoin community. Thank you very much for your great works for Sumokoin project to help the fork progressed smoothly, without serious technical issues.
Hope that Sumokoin network will keep operating smoothly after the fork, which in turn can help to maintain the health of Sumokoin network and can help to level the price up a little bit.

Failure to implement a cold/offline wallet feature that the cheerleaders said it would be and stating that the reason that it has not been done is because I asked for it just goes to show the state of mind of the people running this circus and their spitefulness. Very well-balanced and professional people indeed /s. There's no excuse that's lamer than that but I nevertheless feel honored to be credited as the cause of their failure to implement said feature.

I couldn't care less whether it would ever be implemented or not. I'm merely checking up and pointing out the incapability to implement a standard feature and the lack of integrity on the part of the clowns running this circus.

I want to please you, that you are the most central clown in this circus. An underdeveloped genius.

Based on your speech you just posted, "underdeveloped" seems applicable to you instead.

Please do please me. Love you long time, Joe?

You need help. You're too tense, relax, it's okay. Once again, life is beautiful.  Learn to rejoice in the little things, drop the negative from yourself. And it will be easier for you to see. I understand that the spring has come, your aggravation has begun but it will pass.

Due to recent network's hashrate high fluctuations (our best guess is ASICs trying to get their last blocks) stalling the network, we decided to bring the fork's blockheight closer at block 116520. Binaries will be released shortly.
Thank you

So glad devs moved so swiftly to fork and love SUMO's vardiff algo. Electroneum is experiencing a 51% attack, some claiming it's Bitmain.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Electroneum/comments/88wbkv/electroneum_is_probably_under_a_51_attack_right/

Good thing we didn't wait to seek visdude's approval to fork.  Grin

should have set it to block 116300 or even closer
at current rate with ongoing hash attacks and hours too find one block you won't reach 116520 anytime soon

You can't hf so close. This endangers the success of the HF. Blocks will come. One day later or earlier doesn't matter.

Hi all,

I have downloaded the GUI wallet today from the site.

Is this the most updated (v.0.0.2) and ready for the hf?

Thanks.

There is no 51% attack on Electroneum, there is nothing in the artical that says there is an attack, just someone stirring up some s**t.
The one thing that is worrying about Electroneum is that they have not, as far as I know, made any announcment as to how they will, or will not, counter the ASIC problem.

Thank you

ASICs mostly lead to nightmare for miners, blockchain networks due to their extremely high hashrates, which in turn result in dominant contribution to total hashrate of the network. Dominant hashrates are really bad because they put the whole network under high risks of potentially serious attacks (51% replay attacks). Moreover, they can cause high fluctuations of difficutly when ASIC-farms changed between coins due to price fluctuations at specific point of time.
Additionally, we should have better difficulty-adjustment algorithm.

We have one of the best diff algo's around (if not the best). That's why the asics jusz delay our network a bit and get one or two blocks max, while they raid a few hundret blocks from ETN or Karbo...
