In my opinion, I think people prefer to use cash than Bitcoin because it's convenient and easy to use. Buying and selling food, goods daily with Bitcoin will be a little bit difficult because not everyone knows how to use Bitcoin to trade, and not every industry accepts Bitcoin. For cash is different, people use it easily to buy, sell, exchange, everyone knows how to use cash. And if you say they do not cost money, that's not true, both ATMs and credit cards need a fee
That's because we have a system built around fiat currency, and it makes sense that it's more convenient to use fiat because that's literally how the world economy regulates itself. If we had an economy built around Bitcoin and fiat was the "new thing" then we would find it to be more convenient to purchase things in Bitcoin rather than cash.
However, if you pay with cash, you don't have to pay fees.
You are right, the global monetary system was built around fiat currencies - by the way, they never saw Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies coming. If it were the other way round or even on a level playground, the fiat currencies would by now taken their places in the museum.

As for not paying fees when we pay cash, I guess it depends on what is being paid for. With some items and services, sales tax or valued added tax is paid implicitly. That is one of the reasons most governments are grumbling over Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is good be used for illegal activities because it is anonymous there are no identity needed
when use bitcoin, so cash is better than bitcoin for right now due to many problem on bitcoin like this one.
Criminals Use Bitcoin Tumbler to “Clean” $645,000 Worth of Funds Stolen Through Banking System https://t.co/S4GPPnr5aV
That is obviously calling Bitcoin a bad name, so they would crucify it. First there was an insider, social engineering and wire transfers that did all the dirty jobs and Bitcoin only came in at the last stage to cover their tracks. The problem is certainly not Bitcoin nor cash, it is this creature called man, without the insider and as with many other stories on hacking, nothing actually gets to happen!  This what the concluding part of the story had to say:

Quote
All of this goes to show Bitcoin is not necessarily facilitating organized crime by any means. The scamming itself was done using traditional bank accounts, which were then later used to buy Bitcoin and anonymize it through a tumbling service. Although this makes it harder to recover the stolen funds in question, it is doubtful the water supply company would have been able to retrieve funds through the banking system either.
You are right, actually everything depend on the users bitcoin or cash (because we are comunity of bitcoin) but if there is not bitcoin be used for money laundering, the illegal activities like this will not take bitcoin as part of criminal, for some people will blame bitcoin because it can be used for money laundering from illegal activities without learn about bitcoin and what is purpose of it.

I should say that anything can be used in legal and illegal things and that depends on the hands of its users. It is true that Bitcoin serves as a tool to excecute some wrong doings effectively bu what you also said that it is of not Bitcoin's fault but rather with the creature called man. That's why the countries should make a regulation to protect its users from this peoplr or pursue some legal actions regarding this. By doing so, this crminals would be limited and be taken away the freedom to do some bad things towards others and abusing the system.

Is that a question without question mark? you should say cash is better than Bitcoin, here is why.
Give it another 50 years to see some improvements and not everything fixed, the current state of Bitcoin is exactly what it should be as a decentralized network, remember Ethereum hard forks every few hours?
Yes totally legit decentralized blockchain not.
You could see how a centralized blockchain performs by looking at the rate of BU blocks and signals.
That's why I consider them hostile take over attempt, a company pushing against the wall for gaining the control.
And that's why their code causes crashes all the time because unlike Core they don't have a divers numbers of developers with different skill sets.

Cash is better than bitcoin because we can use cash even offline in 100% so that we can buy our daily needs such as foods and clothes but if we want to earn big profit, cash is not good for that because as of now bitcoin is the best for that because there are many investors on bitcoin so that we can earn.

What are the reasons, why people use Cash or Credit Cards / ATM / Banks?

* Work offline 100%
* No fees.
* Accepted for Food Shopping & Micropayments
* 0 confermations time
* 0 exchange risks
* anyone is able to understanding of the value of payment
bitcoin is terrible for ransomware payments... "pay my ransom in funds that can be tracked on a public ledger"
still there are many issues related bitcoin, so for right now cash is better than bitcoin,
if we want use for daily transaction but bitcoin is good place for save values of whealty due to bitcoin's price
will be expensive in the future.

it will be expensive as it working to happen now, bitcoin value when I started is just less than the amount of it . Bitcoin can really be good for saving than pitting it on a bank and unlike our cash who doesn't grow on its own but in terms of usage ,our cash is definitely in need.
Yup, price of bitcoin always be increasing every time and it makes value of whealty be increasing too
but the fees transaction of bitcoin is increasing too,
 so bitcoin is good for save values of whealty because it will be expensive in the future
but doesn't mean it is good for payment method daily.

What a great respond. Bitcoin will not become a worthless thing or no value because a lot of people now are depending in bitcoin as a source of income and there is already a lot of serious investors that invested in bitcoin already so there is no chance for bitcoin to get 0 value and if you are waiting that then you will wait that price until you die.

It's much more difficult to do a line of blow through 0.06BTC than a $100 bill  Tongue

You can have a paper wallet printed on some high quality paper so... bitcoins wins.
Also you can do it with a 10 000$ paper wallet, not like a cheap whore with a 100$ bill.

And if you say they do not cost money, that's not true, both ATMs and credit cards need a fee

My bank has 0 fees for withdrawing, paying and receiving money.
So no, there are no fees.

I only pay 0.5$ per month for a mobile banking app.

Cash is under government constitution while bitcoin is decentralized currency. Cash is better than bitcoin because cash can be used by all people in the world while bitcoin is only persons who have access on it and not all people can get bitcoin.

They do really have differences in any scenario, we can not live without the use of cash, actually one main reason why we are here is that to earn bitcoin to convert to cash once the bitcoin price goes up. I think that they complement each other. They have somewhat same function but differ in purpose.

One more thing that you forget is how a cash can be used in paying. It will be just in your wallet or in a ATM card that needed to withdrawn. A bitcoin, will be paid from a bitcoin wallet, the problem is, the confirmation, it takes time when we need to transact bitcoin to other wallet. But nowadays, some of our cash are from bitcoin, isn't that right?

Anyone can use Bitcoin. You only need an internet connection, and a device such as smartphone or computer. And cash can't be used across the globe. For example, if you possess a few banknotes of the Myanmar Kyat, I really doubt whether you will be able to purchase anything using it in Pakistan or Oman.

It's only better I'd you on places that are rural or have very little tech. Why would you want to be in a place like that to be in with. Having said that money can be useless too. You cannot eat it. I think your argument is void because of that reason. You said yourself s few reasons why Bitcoin cannot be used. Same for money. In the jungle noone is going to accept money or Bitcoin only food and stuff. Bit then we going backwards with technology.

I heard that in the underworld, people prefer to use cash because with it they are more difficult to track down. When you are about to commit a deal under the radar with crypto, the trust in the network is not the real issue, but communication... Often, it is easier to just meet with someone IRL and give him the funds if you do not want anyone else to know.

It is not the exact reason. In fact, money is the only means for people in the world to use in all day to day transactions, although bitcoin has its advantages, but its greatest existence is inconvenience. It is not used in people's lives.

I think it is the opposite, mostly, in "underworld", people don't want to know their identity, if you use cash, you can be identified, well, you will be handing that money, eventually you can be caught. With bitcoin and it's pseudo anonymous address, you can send bitcoin without knowing who you are or where did you get that bitcoin. It is an ideal currency for such actions and activities right?
