i think that cash is much better than bitcoin, because you can pay with it anywhere you want: even in the internet, just by using bank transfer system or some other kind of payment proccesor.

Fiat has improved a lot, the card are just a proof, people dont like to walk in the street with a big ammount to purchase a new tv or computer, soo cards had improved the fiat service. I don't think that Bitcoin is better than Cash, if you consider its availability, acceptability and credibility then I strongly believe that Cash would be better than Bitcoin.
Bitcoin should be developed and created much credibility and availability then it would be better than Cash.

First of all its not Fiat that improves its everything around it that adapts. What I mean about that is Fiat Currency is just a normal currency that is a medium of exchange for all people its what revolves it that change particularly banks are the ones who adapts the most, from credit cards, debits cards to loan payments they will do anything to make the flow of cash be fast for both the consumers and sellers. Fiat Currency is the one who benefits the most of what the banks did.

Cash isnt better. Merchants have to pay huge fees for armored cars and cash drop off and pick up. Vaults. Usually cash costs more than credit card fees

Thats technology which is enhanced not the fiat. It is a credit not your own money which is in there. Banks just made you a plastic card so that you will spend more whenever you feel like spending it like when you are in the mall.
That is like an instant loan which is not good for people. I have seen a lot who have their salaries almost spent out just paying the dang plastic card.
There will be no more upgeade with fiat. It ends with a physical trading system.
Bitcoin have a lot to offer and it is just starting.

Yeah cash works better for transactions, bitcoin currently is only good as an asset, its an investment like anything else whereas cash is guaranteed to lose value over time.

Money brings money and opposite is also true .If money doesnt cost money, that's not true, both ATMs and credit cards need a fee,so bitcoin transactions also need miner's fee.In regular life you spend more cash than btc transactions.Use cash for  day to day expenses. I  dont consider bitcoin as a form of my daily transaction. You need to wait for confirmations on transactions.Starbucks say, we accept bitcoin as payment method but waht about transaction fee, speed and double spend???  Transactions through bitcoin take time,but cash will always be there in the market and this more "traditional" way to purchase things.  If you are going to decide or to choose bitcoin over fiat you may  choose fiat more than bitcoin.It is totally depend on yourlocation/country. Just spend fiat,hold bitcoins for future perspectives. I prefer to have bitcoin as an investment for long term.

Bitcoin may be still young but we are seeing on how fast it is growing and on how big is the demand of it right now.

People are not considering even though bitcoin is still young as long as it is giving them good benefits it really doesn't matter.

I prefer to use Bitcoin when I purchase something online. I prefer to use Bitcoin not because I am too lazy to go to a Bank and deposit money, it’s because using Bitcoin is a really new method of paying for something and paying with regular cash is a little bit boring.

in fact cash is better only in such areas, where the users of bitcoin are not more, where people do not know much about bitcoin where people do not have practical use of bitcoin. but in such areas where people know the importance of bitcoin there people give preference to bitcoin instead of cash.in fact in future the payment method will be online only. people will be transferring money from one place to another place using bitcoin. in future people may also use bitcoin for shopping in local shops.

i think cash is much better but only those areas where the use of bitcoin is not common and people cannot use it in local shops. but for so many other reason bitcoin is a good investment. as n Brazil there are dozens of shops who are accepting bitcoins for shopping, so there you even do not need to change your bitcoin in to local currency and you can use it for purchasing thing.s

At the moment bitcoin can not compete with cash because it has the backing of a central bank and other cash reserves.
and generally cash has the numbers to back it up unlike bitcoin which is made up of the minority numbers but in terms of investment cash is far behind to even compete with btc

With 1000% inflation in Venezuela, I don't think they care about transaction fees. They have other problems to deal with.

That's an understatement. They have to care about basically everything needed to live right now and there is next to no wealth building potential for them since their country is failing to get necessities of life to them.
At this point the rioting is justified because the Venezuelan government is failing to perform its function and it will rapidly experience social decline until the current governor is replaced.

Somebody needs to create some bitcoin based money making business opportunities specifically for those types of situations. If its done correctly Crypto could spread like wildfire.

If someone creates something that works correctly it would facilitate the purchase of things to many people in Venezuela. Most of the purchases in Venezuela are paid for POS, because payment in fiat of something it would be like carrying a briefcase of money everywhere.

But for the moment in this country, we have to think how to get out of the current government before anything else.

It is true that people have more faith in something that they can hold physically and that is only possible with cash and that is the reason they don't have faith in bitcoins and hesitate to get into and even the acceptance of cash is higher in compare to bitcoins at a moment.

Both bitcoins and fiat currency or money have their own strengths and weaknesses. While money can be used on the parts of the country without internet and electricity bitcoin can cross the border and can be used in any country. But the point here is that bitcoin and money can complement each other and bitcoin will give the aid to money so users can make transactions around the globe and money can aid bitcoin so that the users can purchase things outside internet access areas.

If you like to purchase things on the Internet then I would suggest that Bitcoin would be used because there would be a really slow amount of time that you would have to wait in order for you to receive the money.
Cash would only be a good thing if someone needed to make transactions online.
