Some people think that ETC has a huge potential to go up. When I first decided to buty ETC, it was only $2.8, then I somehow cancelled my opinion. After that ETC went up to $8 which made me very sad.

So the answer is really difficult. ETHER is also the most important altcoin. Hard to decide.

Yes that's right, it's better Ethereum because Ethereum has a better future than ETC.

I think ETC better than ETH, an altcoin potential and cheap price is very good for buying and hold long-term, ETH now has been pumped and the highest price max is 1000$, but ETC now only ~20$ and can x10 in next time after ETH change PoW to PoS. I will choose ETC for replace ETH

Whatever your choice was you tripled your money  
I would rather take 1000$ and use it for daily trades, or if i had to choose between 2 coins i would buy both of them - 75% to buy ETH, and 25% to buy ETC.
ETH should grow because there are lots of projects going on and they all need eth for their tokens - logically more people will buy eth.

I would advise you to invest in ETH, yes. If you use BTC as main "safe" coin, you should start using ETH instead. As a coin, which you consider safe. I think it will surpass Bitcoin soon, since the market cap is getting higher and higher, and BTC losing its dominance.

I'll buy eth and using martiangle strategy to make profit. First buy only use 10% from my money, if the price going down I'll buy again with 15% etc. I'm not suggested to buy eth with all money we have, too risky I think. For now eth price still high, we need wait few days and see their price action and volume. Be patience and good luck.

Ethereum classic is going to do very well in the nearby future because to me it is some how stable than Ethereum. Op I will advise you to invest in Ethereum classic if you have a long term view but if it is for short term then go for Ethereum.

There is inherent problem with Ethereum and I believe ETC is still carrying the problem. Both may go down once better technology is available in the space

I think this is a good sum up. Eth is growing right now and it is doin suspiciously well. If everything goes as planned, it will be at least as influential as bitcoin. However, as there have already been big issues with ethereum platform before, because it is hard to allow lots of thinks and not get hacked, eth is also likely to crush because of miners not supporting the switch to pos, for instance. ETC is already a dumped version, so it is not likely to get into trouble again and may slowly go up and up.
