As I see your post, I checked immediately that feature of yobit and it was a real new feature. I know there will be people that are going to invest there and some that won't. I tried to press the invest button for BTC and it's maximum is 10 BTC

Well i think its not a good idea to invest in yobit right now because they are not so active in support or we heard many posted here about other issue's

Yobit is a noob exchange. From there it is a smart move from them to add such a feature. I am fairly sure that a lot people (noobs) will jump on it. It's quite shady that there isn't a proper explanation of how things work. They just state that it isn't a pyramid/hyip scheme, and that payments are made from a special fund, lol. There is nothing that states what happens with the coins that people invest, just that they can withdraw them at any time -- I feel a catch is hiding somewhere.

Yobit is desperately trying to attract more users to its exchange by adding all kinds of gimmick features.

Developers can load a certain wallet (that belongs to Yobit) with a huge load of their coins (likely premine), and from that wallet people will be getting paid. That's the special fund they are talking about.

Holding small amount of bitcoin or altcoin isn't safe on yobit and why the hell will someone invest money in their investbox and especially when see more higher profit plans than we can actually see on hype websites. This seems that yobit decided to offer not only hype but syperhype plans with maybe supersuck results.

I would be very very careful here. Yobit are not to be trusted. They lost me when they ripped off my credibit by not allowing me to withdraw it to migrate it to the new eth tokens. When I tried to migrate it would say "migration in progress", but they never did it, meaining my coins became worthless and were sold for next to nothing.

Now, as for their "investbox", it's clearly a scam.

They offer for up to 10BTC. 0.2% a day interest, meaning 73% a year.
So if I invest 1BTC (~2,000$), that means $4 /day, or $1460/year interest, if I take out the interest everyday, but if I leave it there for a whole year I get the compound interest. So:

Base amount: $2,000.00
Interest Rate: 0.2%/day or 73%/year
Effective Annual Rate: 107.36%
Calculation period: 1 year
Year   Year Interest   Total Interest   Balance
1   $2,147.14           $2,147.14          $4,147.14


Now imagine I invest 10BTC, so we times that by 10, meaning I invest $20,000 (10BTC) and after 1 year I have $41470, not including any increase in the value of BTC, lol.
Now imagine I open 10 yobit accounts and invest 10BTC on each... It's not sustainable and should be a HUGE red flag for everyone.

In rare cases that the platform/service is somewhat legit, then you can indeed say that the risk vs reward ratio matters, but that doesn't go up in case of an obvious scam. Even if I know that I walk out with guaranteed profits at the beginning, I will not invest a single penny into these services. Mainly because of the fact that I don't want to incentivize them to continue scamming people. And that exactly happens when you invest your hard earned cash into hyip's and all other related schemes.

This is just an assumption, though we all know that yobit is an exchange of pump and dump coins but i never faced any problem with their exchange.  I have a smooth withdrawal and even a good deposit experience.  The investbox is somehow confusing but you can cancel your investment anytime you want.  Make it safer than those investments that hold our Bitcoin for a longer period of time.  Though I am not denying the possibility of an exit scam to happen but it is too early to say such thing.

The investbox is somehow confusing but you can cancel your investment anytime you want.  Make it safer than those investments that hold our Bitcoin for a longer period of time.  Though I am not denying the possibility of an exit scam to happen but it is too early to say such thing.

Actually, it's much less safe than investments where you hold funds for a long period of time.  Many Bitcoin investments will allow withdrawal of funds, such as dice games and funds like Cryptomerian, but in no way does this make them safe.  With unregulated or poorly regulated Bitcoin investments, anything could be a scam or extremely shady at any time.

I'd say that YoBit is being extremely shady by suggesting that your investment is 100% safe just because you can withdraw it "at any time".  When you want to withdraw it, it's too late, and any legitimate investments give warnings about the risk for your capital.

The chances that this isn't a scam are pretty low.  They have no actual plan for how they're getting the coins, and it's not like the Bitcoin devs are trying to promote their coin by giving them interest of 0.2% daily.

it is not necessarily yobit who is putting up those walls.

when a shitcoin is dead at 1 satoshi or lower, as long as its network is functioning, it means someone is mining transactions and earning some reward. and the miner will dump that reward on the market. and the 500BTC+ walls show how bad the reward of these altcoins are. and also proves that the coins with a big circulating supply are terrible idea because miners will always gain these huge rewards and dump and kill the price.

Yobet recently received neg trust I guess. The site is also very sticky now a days and having very slow servers. I always used to trade and exchange on this site but now a days it is filled with more bots than humans.  I will never trust any services provided by yobet. Also when there are high rate on a site than the market then it is probably very risky to invest in such sites. Why would they go in loss by providing us more money than other sites on the market that is the first question you should know about.

I'm a bit iffy on it. If you look at the DOGE, for example, the 15%/day ran out in under 24h. So I do believe there's a cap to it. That said, I still don't get the point of it or anything... and I will say that I had 6 DOGE sitting on there and invested it in, and because it ran out of funds before it paid out, all I got back after 24h was the principal.

That 1000% isn't a scam all it does is make the coin worthless go look at the trading for the coin you talking about. But ya "special fund" that's. It suspicious at all. I thought the investment box was limited and only temporary till it ran out that's what was suppose to happen.

Oh sorry about that I forgot to mention that yes I did try several times till frustration. The Redbox you click to close the invest just wouldn't light up as if it was not there. Then I asked on yobit chat and someone said to zoom in. Tries and never worked. Then I used "inspect" to manually find it and all of a sudden it light up and closed. Its a glitch because not everything fits well on the screen so it foes into chat box.

I used yobit a few times only but I don't like (and trust) sites with too many features. It has faucets for free coins, gambling option, and as an exchanger of course, and now there is this 'investbox'? I prefer simple sites with one main feature, easy to use, and more specialized in that field. Not sure about yobit now.

I will say that what he's claiming is true. It works. The question, however, is how LONG it will work.

How it works is this:

You choose how much to put up. It does a 24h countdown. After 24h it does one of two things:

1) If there is sufficient balance in their "pool" to pay out, you get interest rolled into principal
2) If there is insufficient balance, they will not pay out but you can close it and get back your principal

Annoying part is in #2, they could run out 1 second before they pay you out and essentially get an interest-free loan.

But again, while they pay out now, there's no guarantee.

Not going to vouch for them or anything, but what I can say is that every accusation I've seen so far dealt with some crapcoin that nobody cares about and is always caused by a lack of miners (meaning coins can't be moved as there's nobody to mine blocks). It's not infinite. The pool only has x amount and when it runs out, it's out. You're acting like they are giving away 0.2%/day for unlimited BTC in perpetuity when they aren't. Multiple coins there have already run out of funds and the principal was returned to users after.

Let's assume you create one, from there you can choose the type of coin, payment frequency, how much people can earn in terms of percentages, and the list goes on.

Point is, that at first glance there is nothing to lose. However, the only question you'll have to ask yourself, is whether or not it is worth having your coins be in control of an exchange as Yobit. I personally wouldn't do so, but if you think it's worth scooping up a few litoshis, then go ahead. Regarding withdrawals, there haven't been any worthwhile complaints in terms of withdrawing Litecoin. But then again, there not being any problems right now, doesn't mean it won't happen tomorrow or the next week....

Currently there are well over 200 shitcoins that haven't generated any sort of volume in the last 24 hours, plus well over 300 shitcoins that haven't generated more than 0.1 BTC in volume. +500 coins that aren't generating them anything that justifies these coins remaining listed as tradable asset.

I don't know. If you trust yobit and its promises then this is for you. But there is a high likelihood of this eventually going scam.

No, you aren't right to my mind because coinbase is legal and usa based. If you still say that they are more likely a scam type, than we can also say that all banks are scam.

People here like to talk while they have no clue about how this exchange operates, don't pay attention to them. Yobit is a crappy exchange in terms of support and how it operates, but it isn't a scam. Yobit is a typical example of how the exchange operator tries to attract as many people as possible to join, and thus want his revenue to be increased, but isn't willing to put any significant amount of money on the table to offer people a great user experience.

People here like to talk while they have no clue about how this exchange operates, don't pay attention to them. Yobit is a crappy exchange in terms of support and how it operates, but it isn't a scam. Yobit is a typical example of how the exchange operator tries to attract as many people as possible to join, and thus want his revenue to be increased, but isn't willing to put any significant amount of money on the table to offer people a great user experience.

I agree, I myself noticed that Yobit really looked attractive at first because it looks easy to use and newbie-friendly. The only reason why Yobit have become famous is because of their feature where newbies can get free donated coins from other players. But there's a catch, after using it for some time, I realized that I wasted my time claiming those free coins because it was late when I found out that those free coins has a very low value. Time is gold, it is not worth spending your time claiming free coins from Yobit.

Moving on, Yobit's INVESTBOX was a very impressive feature from Yobit. I find it impressive because again, they found a way to easily attract more investors. Because to this feature, I was even tempted to invest in Yobit, but luckily, like I always do, I made some research first before investing, then I found out that it is just another poor feature from Yobit.

I noticed that some plans are getting paid when the time ends , while some plans it takes over one hour to get the interest
so I guess the process isn't automatic , also IDK how they allow delays with over 1 hour since the whole invest plan is 24 hours which makes a huge difference with the ROI if you want to keep your money for like a month

yeah it's shady of course and there is risk ( since they aren't explaining how the plans work ) , actually the whole system need to be fixed like at the last day of my investment I wasn't able to get the profit cause the plan was out of money , so I waited 24 hours for nothing which should be changed since the time I invested they accepted the investment so they should pay the interest and then close the plan

anyways every investment has a risk , the close of the plans make me a little bit believe that the plans aren't pyramid

i had to take a look after reading your comment, i didnt think you were actually serious. Looks like they have a variety of plans with differing interest rates and payment periods, but yeah, 20% a day is ridiculous for what is essentially a handout out of a 'special fund' theyre claiming to have.
I get theyre a pretty established and large altcoin exchange, but i dont know if they have the luxury to just be handing out coins. Not saying its a definite, but id steer clear of this until otherwise proven.

In most cases it's not worth it, but there is not much that you risk since you'll always be able to withdraw your funds at full. If you're looking for something a bit more sustainable, but takes longer for interest to build up, then you can choose to go with freebitco.in where they offer you around 4% annually. It's not the highest in terms of returns, but you are making money in a passive form, and that's the most important thing.

i'm with Yobit since february, I think it's quite good, for what I need to do, this invest box, it's brillant, DEV put some coin in a reserve wallet, to promote the altcoin, and choose the taxrate, until reserve is with money, you can invest, when money are ended, you can't, simlpy. So if I am a dev, for exaple of Centurion, I can put a lot of them in the reserve account, and give the chances to invest on them on a daly-weekly-monthly basis, with good taxrate, for example, I the DEV, say minimum 10000 CNT to 100000 CNT, i give 1% weekly. I am "forcing" or better giving the possibility to my altcoin to be bought (10000 min), so I create volume, and maybe price get higher... You can claim your money at will, if a round it's not completed, you don't gain any interest. So Yobit it's not responsible for the lack of money on the reserve account and for me it's 100% safe.

Another thing is if you don't trust Yobit, in that case do not invest.

Yeah. Basically all the good coins require you to do some dice rolls. Other coins which have basically no buy orders you are still able to simply invest your coin and let it just stay there. Yobit probably expected people to use the higher percentage returns on the shitcoins instead of the much lower percentages on bitcoin, litecoin and doge, and they probably had to pay out of their own pockets a lot of money.

There seems to be no minimums though which is odd. You can bet 1 satoshi 5 times and fulfill your daily quota.

Maybe their plan is that people will start gambling irresponsibly, but imo it's not going to happen. everyone is going to just do the bare minimum.

Anyways this does not make their service legit. It is most likely still a ponzi scheme that will collapse in the end one way or another.

All of these coins offer 0.2% interest, and have decent orderbook depth. i think they were most likely overpaying interest and incurring losses. I'm not sure why they would put such a small restriction of 5 dice rolls without any minimums.

This is usually how an online investment scam ends. Either yobit runs away with the money(unlikely considering they do have nice trading volume generating profit for them), or they are going to implement a lot of restrictions on withdrawals that wasn't there when investments open. This is the glimpse of what yobit is able to do, imo. They control the whole thing, if you invest then you are trusting them not to do that, which is a highly risky proposition.

My first assumption also was that the investbox is more of a marketing ploy than a scam attempt. The gambling requirement seems to confirm this suspicion, ie. the investbox is not only meant to attract noobs, but also to get them to play dice. In most cases dice games, or basically any other games, get highlighted as being probably fair to attract users. In this case it's fairly easy to assume that when such statement is lacking, their game isn't probably fair.

That being said, the dice game they offer seems to be quite active, where at the time of writing this post, one user is constantly betting 0.8BTC for quite a long time now.

Considering the large bets of this user, this must be a gambler with a decent betting balance if he can afford to constantly bet 0.8BTC. It's either a user that doesn't care about probably fair, or it's a Yobit bot.

I really think that the new policy has no effect whatsoever due to the fact that people are just going to bet the absolute minimum every single week, and get their investment returns like before. Most people are wise enough to not get addicted to dice just because they tell you to do 5 dice games.

as said above, anything like this that promises what is essentially a handout raises questions. as it stands, it seems they have nothing to gain from this; they're handing out money, and that's not how a business makes money. it reeks of 'exit scam' (not saying it is, just how it might be perceived).

man you don't have to wager a lot , 5 bets with 1 satoshi each will do the thing and you will receive your share from the investbox
there are two reasons for adding this rule IMO , 1st is that some players may like the dice and they may play more often and even if the dice is provably fair that means yobit will generate more profit
2nd reason is simply that you may forget to wager the 5 bets ( happened with me once so far ) so yobit will hold your funds without paying you interest , and this may happen a lot with different users ( basically saving some money )

I'm not saying that the whole investbox is not shady , but the rules isn't that bad actaully

i'm with Yobit since february, I think it's quite good, for what I need to do, this invest box, it's brillant, DEV put some coin in a reserve wallet, to promote the altcoin, and choose the taxrate, until reserve is with money, you can invest, when money are ended, you can't, simlpy. So if I am a dev, for exaple of Centurion, I can put a lot of them in the reserve account, and give the chances to invest on them on a daly-weekly-monthly basis, with good taxrate, for example, I the DEV, say minimum 10000 CNT to 100000 CNT, i give 1% weekly. I am "forcing" or better giving the possibility to my altcoin to be bought (10000 min), so I create volume, and maybe price get higher... You can claim your money at will, if a round it's not completed, you don't gain any interest. So Yobit it's not responsible for the lack of money on the reserve account and for me it's 100% safe.

Another thing is if you don't trust Yobit, in that case do not invest.

I'm actually buying unknown alt coin to get some good rate for my 100-200 usd and it's working...

yeah it's not that big deal at all , but it does serve some purposes for yobit
and believe me people sometimes forget to open yobit and wager the dice , I have like 600$ invested and forgot once to wager cause sometimes life makes you forget online stuffs you know

After I checked this thread and read about the requirement of Yobit in playing dice 5 times on with the currency that is invested on the Investbox, I go to Yobit site to check on the requirement and how easy or hard it is.  And I found out that what the previous reply say is true.  It is not hard to get the earning from the investment.  You can play 1 sat 5x if you are investing in BTC to be able to get the 0.2% interest.  Even though yobit Dice is suspected not provably fair, I believe their requirement won't affect your earning at all.

It's not about you being able to bet just 1 single satoshi to walk through this requirement, but more the fact that you are being forced to gamble if you want to make use of the invest box ~ that's a pretty nasty practice to be honest.

What's next, forcing people to roll the dice 10 times with at least 0.001BTC at stake per roll? It's a silly move to trap people into playing dice and eventually lose their balance to Yobit ~ that's not how an exchange should operate, period.

I never used yobit as I've read a lot of bad comments about them. And their investbox is something like a ponzi, we know they have a service but offering something like this and will require people to gamble first for a minimum of 5 times is a crazy as lit. They are promoting both of their service as investbox and as well as their dice game. Take note of that (/day) for all of those coins.

Success can be a very possible if the trading in yobit will not fail, but for me if ever scam will happen, I guess that's not profitable with the site because the reputations of yobit depends with it. So good financial trades and investments from people who trusted yobit, they really can invest here and buy trusted coin that will surely hit the market price. I have read someone invested there and he was able to cashout his profit but never reinvested there as he knows the risk on what he's investing. I don't think they are after for the trust nor reputation, they've got their reputation destroyed and this isn't the way to gain trust again. They must start with the queries and support for their customers.

Well I don't think there is any problem with this investment as long as we don't see all the negative threads coming up in the forum sections like those of cloud miners. Try to go in their main thread and you would see that this exchange do have lots of complaints not regarding on their investment box but mostly on the site service itself. don't want to defend yobit but to be honest most of the problems are about people wanting to withdraw dead coins
exchanges in general are tricky when it comes to users experience , like for me I never had a single problem with yobit since the day I started using them
while I had serious problems with both of poloniex and bittrex , so it's more like you can't trust any exchange but some of them may be better for you

Wow man look at that box. Its just filled with crazy daily returns and the monthly returns obviously looking great. Well I don't think there is any problem with this investment as long as we don't see all the negative threads coming up in the forum sections like those of cloud miners. They are crazy and numerous in the forum which clearly states what is wrong with them.

I have not seen much talk about the yobit investment box so I can be sure about it to give a try. Also, I'm wondering if there are already people who got he money from this lunch box and have the proofs of transfer of coins. Please share guys this will add up the value to it and the investment as well. :-)

Try to go in their main thread and you would see that this exchange do have lots of complaints not regarding on their investment box but mostly on the site service itself. I don't have trust on putting up money or investment on a site which do have lots of issues and I haven't see any investors as of now on such investbox which do give or share his words regarding on this investment.

creating plan means that you are offering people investment and you are going to pay them the interests but I never tried it so I'm not sure how to cancel the plan , maybe ask in the troll box

Exactly!! Yes they would close completely before stealing through an investment. Think about it though. It's in their best interest to stay legit. Those guys are raking in so much money is crazy. They don't need to run. They will make more money not running. If they run the stream of income stops. It just sounds shady because their English is so broken and they don't feel like explaining everything. So they don't. but the real questions you should be asking are two things:
1. is it even safe to invest your funds there with a shady exchange? probably not

I had no bad withdraw experiences on the investbox, but the interests on legit cryptocurrencies are poor. There is a better way on margin lending at Bitfinex and Poloniex. The coins with high interests are in my experience shit/scamcoins without worth. there you can know what yobit time frame is , for me I have the same time frame with them

Check out page 1 and page 4 you can see two different rates for weekly and monthly. On the page 1 you'll see calculation that I quoted and at the page 4 you'll see 0.1% monthly. I haven't noticed that when there are forks they are also adjusting the rates and percentage of profit.

This is just a requirement so that you are able to invest in their box and you can roll a tiny amount of alt coins even those useless ones as long as they have a wallet for that coin. I remember that they have free coins that can be used for rolling but its now gone.

I decided to take the risk and try yobits investbox. I put in only 0.04 btc and bought yobits coin liza. I have received my 10% for 3 days now. The price has dropped from 0.00000052 when I bought. To 0.00000045 and I'm still up 0.02 btc.
I will sell out when it gets back to 50ish then buy in again with the profits iv made.
I don't understand how this ivestbox works yes its likely a scam but if u only put in a small amount of btc that u can afford to lose then just reinvest your profits after a few days to a week. If the coin doesn't die then your small amount turns into a nice wedge

- or problem with smart contract
- or send btc to bch address (before fork)

Now they have "Please rate the assistance of each support:" that is good thing too.
But all complainings is from noobs and their mistakes, and example:

You do actually have the point but i do completely disagree with you talking Yobit to be a good exchange.I admit that there are really users who made their mistakes but eventually as an exchange
you should really be active on announcing which wallets are on maintenance or not. Some of them would be online but most of them are offline like forever.

Has anyone been lending there for say 1 year and able to withdraw?

I doubt that no one would mind to post up if they do able to pull out their funds or not. Their main thread is long time locked.

Have heard lots and lots of complaints on Yobit recently and have you guys checked the withdrawal fees of that exchange.? Its Insane. More than twice compared to other exchanges. I dont know why some coins still want to keep on listing there.

Noobs things.....
Check Yobit chat and you will see "problems" that they have.....
- Wallet offline, they send coins
- Forgot tag to insert
- or problem with smart contract
- or send btc to bch address (before fork)
etc......
Yobit support never respond on ticket they fix problem if they can to fix (if it's on their side problem).
Now they have "Please rate the assistance of each support:" that is good thing too.
But all complainings is from noobs and their mistakes, and example:
someone send coins on offline wallet address (of course dont get coins) and start to complaining on Yobit how they stole coins but he/they did not read red letters wallet offline! Who made a mistake?!

I can only say that Yobit is good exchange and read carefully red letters or green

You do actually have the point but i do completely disagree with you talking Yobit to be a good exchange.I admit that there are really users who made their mistakes but eventually as an exchange
you should really be active on announcing which wallets are on maintenance or not. Some of them would be online but most of them are offline like forever.

On wallet page when you click on + or - , deposit or withdraw you can see Wallet status: Online, on Maintenance or Offline and that is all story about that problem.
And yes, on most of altcoins wallet is Offline or on Maintenance but that is problem with wallet synchronization.
But when I say good exchange, I think on major coins (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Dashcoin) I did not find any problem with that coins on Yobit exchange (deposit or withdraw). P.S. problem can happen if you deposit from smart contracts

My suggestion is if you trade on Yobit deposit or withdraw major coins only, but you can trade other altcoins without problem.
