Wow pages and pages already but first post seems to indicate this is a proprietary closed-source coin?

Since there was no mention of source code nor link to source code?

Though why is it even on sourceforge if it is just binaries and not source code?

reject ratio of 99% ... and the 26 blocks i did find about 8 hours ago never showed up in transaction list...  i figured i try again thinking the difficulty increase would help... but all rejects still.

did anyone notice the guy who posted this coin had 1 post when he posted it?

i really hope this isnt a well hidden virus.

Must be doing something wrong.

As my CPU couldn't hack it; put my 5670 on it using cgminer; and it still says 0/0.

Only 60 coins with 1400kh/s

Damnit.
How long it takes to get 60 coins? I currently running @ 250kh/s only, no more luck to get more coins.

Could be this. Had some problems compiling it.
I compiled the daemon using

after git clone
cd CHNCoin
mkdir src/obj
sh share/genbuild.sh src/obj/build.h
cd src
BDB_INCLUDE_PATH=/usr/include/db4.8/ BDB_LIB_SUFFIX=-4.8 make -f makefile.unix

4.8 is the version of my berkleydb install

Thanks, saving that for later. Been used to only do the make -j makefile.unix Wink

I found the git link in the Chinese section of the forum.

The compile issue is mostly due to the fact that whoever put it together forgot to put a obj directory in the src directory. Compile the daemon first (after adding the empty obj directory), then compile the qt version if desired.

Yep.

Can you please give a bit of detail how you set it up? Getting nothing over here (5670, cgminer, Windows 7 32bit).

Well for starters you need to create the obj subdir of the src dir, as they left that out of what git clone gives you.
