Just one problem and you want to kill bitcoin already.
This question keep popping out everytime someone got a problem with the transaction time. I hope this ends.
Bad threads like this can make an impact if someone believes it.
If you are sending a big amount then next time better pay a higher fee if you are in a hurry to receive it.
Absolutely,if you are in a hurry, better set higher fee for the transaction.Temporarily,to avoid such delays, some times i stored my btc in an exchange since fee was very low as 0.0001 btc and transaction time taken was also very low.But its not advisable to always keep btc in exchange.

Good for you,if you are trying to send micro transactions then find an alternative solution is the best thing to do,but if you are looking for monetary advantage in terms of trading then bitcoin is the only solution, since there is a transaction delay does not mean that the network is going to die, hope there will be a network upgrade in the near future so that these problems are solved, either way the money is still in bitcoin.

NIce. But it seems that investors do not see the potential in litecoin and the benefits which litecoin can provide us. Therefore, I think that the litecoin dev team needs to do something to encourage more people to use this currency

Without having fully investigated the other options, I believe there is at least one out there that still gives the security of confirmations and keeps the coin/site admins out of the mix.  I could be wrong but this slow tx confirmation maybe the reason of downfall of bitcoins someday.

I have sent BTC yesterday but one day passed it is not confirmed, I have raised mining fee, this sucks.

It is true that this situation has proved to be quite problematic for many bitcoin users, but I do not think it is in itself a reason to anticipate the imminent death of bitcoin. To be honest the future of bitcoin seems to me very ambiguous, as it has enough strengths to anticipate an ascent to the moon, but also has enough weaknesses to leave the door open to a potential failure.

But back to your point, it is clear that you are quite impatient to send to hell all this amazing ecosystem for only a few hours in which your transaction has not been confirmed.

It's not a secret that there are problems in Bitcoin transfers but it doesn't mean that there are no solutions. There are of course some technical solutions but there no common agreements yet... Segwit and hardfork are two solutions at the moment but it needs sometime and support from miners and users...

Bitcoin nowadays is growing rapidly so i cannot tell that this will die soon based on what is its standing at the present.I honestly believe bitcoin will continue to conquer the universe for the coming months and years.

I hope so, increasingly not to die because the world's state needs digital currency to make transactions Grin

Well it really depends but nowadays there are a lot of scammers and hackers scattered around. If this gets out of hand, it may die soon but for sure, another alternative will rise that may be similar to bitcoin. But I really do not believe that bitcoin will die anytime soon.

Mine took over a week before it got confirmed.  Am not however sure this will kill Bitcoin. It could even help raise the price. What I think could kill Bitcoin is deliberate centralization, take over by World's government or some other things I don't want to mention here.

Scammers and hackers don't really affect the bitcoin price, in fact the anonimity of bitcoin supports its price due to demand for the currency in the trade for illegal goods and services.

I'd rather say Bitcoin's death is impossible to happen especially now that it has gained its momentum across the world and countries accepting it.

Regarding slow confirmation time in the Blockchain, seems like its getting faster since the unconfirmed transactions have dropped to 58k compared to the previous month who have 200k+ unconfirmed transactions which is totally astonishing though the transaction fee is the real deal nowadays since it is getting expensive.

No bitcoin will be successful in the future. I believe that bitcoin has a future that someday bitcoin will be one of the country's money currency.Bitcoin is now accepted at some stores as a money in change of the commercialized products that they have. In the near future as i look at bitcoin i can see a good future for it.

It is not about wether bitcoin is powerfull or not, we already established that a long time ago but the probelm is how it is treated these days and how the developpers are driving it into a bad path, where transactions are slow and fees are through the roof, you could already tell that it is going so bad when popele are complaining about it left and right and most of the gambling sites which are some of the main thing about using bitcoin shutting down left and right.

If we take a long time to send and receive bitcoin instead of "bitcoin will die" it might be a problem in the wallet you use, if you think bitcoin will die because of it, maybe you need to learn and understand bitcoin once more
