Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

If you use blockchain, your transaction may take more times than previous record. I have got confirmed my unconfirmed transaction after 8 days. I don't think Bitcoin will not die soon.
Lol maybe due to the deep disappointment due to the lack of bitcoin as the confirmation time can make the user go and if it keeps on going the user can run out and bitcoin will die?

I have noticed that, though people are aggrieved by the delays in transaction confirmation and high fees, they nevertheless remain stuck with Bitcoin, because on trying elsewhere - the altcoins, reality soon dawn on them that no place is actually like home. For a thousand and one times, doomsayer had foreseen the last days of Bitcoin, but would they ever learn, Bitcoin is answers to many question bothering man, anyone suggesting it is going to die now or in years to come, truly lacks understanding of what Bitcoin really is.

If the current situation persists for too long, then I believe yes... Bitcoin will be damaged, and the small Bitcoin holders will get out of the boat first, not before paying a premium for their transaction fee to fiat, of course.
Yes if the problem in the transaction fee would not be fixed or solved soon then there is a possibility that bitcoin will be die. Because it has a big effect to every user. But I believe that they are going to fixed it as soon as possible so that bitcoin will still remain and can be used even in the future.

I used to believe that Bitcoin will die if these issues with high fees and delayed confirmations aren't solved any time sooner but I have a different perception now. With the overwhelming increase in patronage I doubt if Bitcoin will die any Sooner even if the challenges are not resolved because a lot of the new entrants are just interested in investing in Bitcoin so that they sell when the prices goes up; there are just a few that use it on the daily basis for micro payments and they are likely to encounter the delayed confirmations unlike those that have invested and holding.

Bitcoin can never die but unless the scaling issues are solved it will remain a niche product and never go mainstream. We have the chance to revolutionize the world and I hope the miners listen.

People who wait 8 days for the first confirmation don't want to pay appropriate fees and it solely depends on them whether to wait so long or not. Just recently I paid $2.5 fee and the transaction was confirmed in 20 minutes. Of course such fee is unacceptable for small transactions under $25 and for those transactions other cryptos will be used in the future most likely.

I think it will not die, it's just starting to get more popular. I can assume that in the near future it will be our new kind of money. And we all know that innovation is coming, this is it, this is our new and innovative kind of money. Less hassle of keeping it  and it's pretty handy. This is the future, and the future starts with this.

Processing of transaction is so delay I hope it should be so faster.

We all hope but the miners and users refuse to come to some compromise, honestly I dont care if its Segwit or Bitcoin unlimited as long as there is something that WORKS.

I'm also aware with these problems that can give investors doubt on investing with it. Companies can just adopt the blockchain technology and if there will be no solution for these problems on bitcoin for sure we will see a lot of people to adopt and migrate to some alt coins that is next to bitcoin. But I think if many will migrate there, the same problem will be experienced.

Bitcoin is rising up rapidly so the wallet's owner thinking that bitcoin will go up more so that they increase the fee's of the its user but it doesn't mean that the bitcoin will die soon. no its a big no. the one who is saying that is just regret now because they didn't buy bitcoin in low value.

Bitcoin will be alive and well even after August 1st which is the date when the compromise agreement on scaling solution can be implemented or what they call as BIP 148 UASF. We are then hoping that real solutions can be implemented to the Bitcoin problems so that Bitcoin can finally be able to gain its real growth potential.

Bitcoin is right here and will stay for as long as there is a need for it and as long as people are still trusting the technology behind the number one cryptocurrency.

Long live the King!

Of course we know what we are experiencing and that is because of the delay of confirmation. In your confirmation, how much you are paying for the fee? The higher fee, the higher priority and attention of miners to your transaction. And majority of us are not willing to pay for higher fees as we knew bitcoin is a cheap way to transact.

The fee on all three was 0.00008

which equals about $0.22

Now considering I just sent some money home to my country from another country and it cost $25 plus an extortionate exchange rate...

I would say that is pretty cheap.

I could have sent millions of dollars worth for 22 cents.

You guys are talking chump change as a limitation on BTC... You need to focus on a good job, not BTC transaction fees if you think 20 cents is a restriction.

I think Bitcoin will not die because you are not the only ones using Bitcoin in this world ... bitcon slightly slower payment that is only suitable for small payments should be no more likely to die

Yes, It'll not die because it is increasing everyday. Each day, hundreds of people are getting attracted by Bitcoins and adopting it. More people getting interested in Bitcoin means its value increases. So, If the value of something increases, it doesn't die unless if someone is trying to kill it.
Yes you are right bitcoin will not die because the number of users are increased in each day and bitcoin is more popular and more establish than past , also some countries government accept bitcoin then its price is  very increased and investors also increased and I hope bitcoin will be very soon accept by all world government, so I think bitcoin will not die soon.

Lol I also use blockchain and I've also experienced a very long transaction time and it really makes me angry. If this condition continues, then the bitcoin tagline such as the cheap fee and fast transaction will be lost, and bitcoin will lose trust and die
