I don't think that bitcoin is better than gold. Gold is a physical object unlike bitcoin but both have a value that increases through time. But why gold is better? Gold has a limited amount of supply, and as the demand increases with a small amount of resources the value increases. Unlike bitcoin, where in there can be another form of digital currency than can replace it after many years.

I can not choose money or gold and can not compare both. Gold has advantages and also Bitcoin has advantages,
But for now Bitcoin is superior because of the ever-increasing price hikes and making people get rich quick, gold is just silent and good to be a fit.

I think theree is a lot of features which bitcoin has that cannot be done with gold.
Such a transportability,  in bitcoin you can move millions or even billions of dollars worth of coin without even shedding a sweat.
With bitcoin this is almost close to impossible doing so.

But there is an advantage gold has over bitcoin.
That is when it comes to real value.
Gold almost has a fixed constant value,  whereas bitcoin is very volatile since it is very dependent on investors preferrences.

Therefore it is safe to say than one of them has an edge over the other one depending on the usage.

absolutely! bitcoin is way beyond gold ! though on gold you have a jewelry or bars with you holding but still it is a slow movement of investment, unlike on bitcoin its votality is at best mode for investors .

For me gold and bitcoin have their own advantages. Now we see from the price point of view. Bitcoin prices do tend to increase quite drastically. But keep in mind the bitcoin goes up because of a request. Different from gold. Gold although not significant increase. But can be sure every year always go up. Demand is increasing
