I cannot say that bitcoins is better than gold but if you are going to compare those two things then bitcoins is really easier to obtain rather than gold and that what makes the price of bitcoins increase in the market because of the investors who are interested.

How can you say that it is easier to purchase Bitcoin? In my country, I can purchase gold (up to a certain limit) without any sort of ID proof. However, if I want to purchase BTC, then I have to go through a lot of hassle. All the exchanges are asking for ID proof now, and purchases are under the IT radar.

I think both are the same, depending on the person who uses them. But for me, bitcoin is better, because so many opportunities on the internet involving bitcoin.

It depends on the things which you expect from the asset, in some occasions bitcoin is better, but gold has its own pros, for example stable price and if you just want to make some investment and you are not expecting to get fast benefit or benefit at all and you are just thinking for saving your money, then gold might be better.

Gold is better than bitcoin.  Gold has a physical value but bitcoin has not.

In this period of time yea because the bitcoins are phwnomenal and all of a sudden become popular investment even if they are not made to be like that. They are much better because it is easy to have to sell amd to hold rather than gold which is physically hold and sell. I think Gold is still popular and more acceptable rather than Bitcoin. Gold has been used since primitive age but Bitcoin is the tool which is created in the recent time. but people have a belief on the gold regarding saving and investment.

i agree and your statement is exactly true regarding in gold. many people including  are still believing in gold because it is was the original currency or medium that can be used to purchase or trade goods. Gold has already existed just before the age of money and local curencies that is why gold is still better than any other currencies including bitcoin. Its very simple question, i know everyone will suggest bitcoin. Because bitcoin is better than gold to gain profit. If you want more profit with short period of time, just go with bitcoin. Bitcoin is good investment but it's your choice if you want to buy bitcoin if you think this coin is better to the gold.  But if you want safe investment better if you choose gold but it will takes few years or decades. But better if you invest to bitcoin and gold and for sure you will make more profit after few years of holding.
