Actually its very complex question. I think that, may not be today but in the future it will be . Bitcoin if it still continues to grow. But today gold is still better than bitcoin. Bitcoin is surely better than gold as bitcoin is more liquid than gold. Investment in gold is also good if u can use it but gold cannot be used for direct purchase, it could be if it was barter exchange as in olden days gold was medium of exchange. But now in present todays world paper and plastic currency is used. Now In future only cryptocurreny will be fully used. So bitcoin is the future and it cannot be stolen as in the case of gold.

Yes altcoins are very profitable but it's need a stable price of bitcoin. As soon as bitcoin become stable they will give you profit. So don't sell your coins maintain them tightly.

Well. it is expensive, it is volatile and it is decentralized, anyone who loves these features really thinks bitcoin is very precious. But I think if I will be comparing bitcoin to gold, I will still go to gold.

We know that gold and silver are manipulated down and their real value is multiples higher. However, cryptos have a lot higher purchasing power. I bought ETH at $15. I can now go grocery shopping for a week at $160 per ETH. Bought silver at $15. Guess what...I can only break even plus profit 2 candy bars. When the manipulation ends, I'll sell all of my crypto and buy precious metals. For now, cryptos aren't as manipulated and therefore find true market value.

I think we should not compare gold and bitcoin because with bitcoin, now its development time, bitcoin is becoming more popular, widely used, and so many people predict that keeping it for a few years will make us more profitable. However it is only predictions, the future is something unpredictable, so if we compare gold and bitcoin at the moment, maybe the bitcoin will be better but the future, no one would dare sure it would be the same. I agree! Gold has proven its capacity and its worth for how many years. Gold can be accepted everywhere in the country, regardless of what kind of store it is. Everyone knows gold, whether you're rich or poor. Even those people who lives in the provinces knows about gold. Bitcoin on the other hand, it is gaining more popularity, its price now is really high and you can really earn huge amount of profit in a short period of time. But still, bitcoin can't be accepted everywhere in the country (except to those country who warmly accepted bitcoin) and if there is, only few stores accept bitcoin as mode of payment. So for me, Gold is still better than bitcoin.

If we look into the graft for the performance of bitcoin and gold bitcoin is far better then gold. In my assumption Gold is consider as precious metal and ornament it can be a safe assets it will appreciate without any risk for the invested amount. Yes I agree, the thing that makes bitcoin better than gold is the profit level, if we bought gold a year ago and we sale now we will get profit not more than 5%, but if a year ago we bought bitcoin and we sell know then we will get profit more than 400%.
