I have seen related topic like this... but by the way I guess bitcoin is much better on gold because unlike gold bitcoin has unstable price so there's a chance that its price goes up or maybe fall hence it is very risky. But we know that the higher risk the higher profit will you get.

Last day the price of bitcoin did even surpass the normal value of gold. But when it comes to popular, gold will still the winner on it. But for us who are into bitcoin, well it's a real deal that bitcoin is better. It has a lot of feature and usage unlike gold, it's only good for investment and for being used for different jewelries.

I think that people from the bitcoin community rarely use gold to invest. After all, bitcoin has many advantages. The main of which is a rapid price increase

We might rarely use gold but if you are an investor and you are widening your investments, gold is a good choice. You're of course free to do what you want, but why consider investing into something with a relatively low return potential? It makes no sense to me considering that you're aware of Bitcoin's potential growth. Just look at the 1 or 2 year gold charts -- you'll notice how poor gold has been performing price wise. Put that against the high level of growth Bitcoin has gone through in the last years....

We know that gold and silver are manipulated down and their real value is multiples higher. However, cryptos have a lot higher purchasing power. I bought ETH at $15. I can now go grocery shopping for a week at $160 per ETH. Bought silver at $15. Guess what...I can only break even plus profit 2 candy bars. When the manipulation ends, I'll sell all of my crypto and buy precious metals. For now, cryptos aren't as manipulated and therefore find true market value.

It's all about the profiting power and if you have bitcoin then it's better to have both of it. Since gold investment is almost the same in bitcoin, you don't have get too much exhausted on it and you can also sell it to those people or companies that are using gold as their main material for their products.

Well if you are an optimistic person, even the possible return isn't that high but as long as there is return that would be fine. You have bitcoin as your main investment and you have some other sub investments but well, it's not going to happen for now, I'm still planning it.

Making an investment is a personal choice,bitcoin is currently the hot market and there was a time for gold and there are stock markets too which does not have that much manipulation in price because of all the regulations in place,the risk involved is larger in alt coins and the amount of profit to be earned is also higher and that is the difference,while in the rest of the investments mentioned,the risks are comparatively low.

Better in which aspect exactly, if in the possibility of generating massive return in a short period of time then it's better. However regarding the stability, the less downward curve are better in gold than the volatile bitcoin. IMO bitcoin is best as short term trading and gold as long term savings.

this is what i am thinking too because the price is really can makes people getting shocked suddenly. if they don't have big capital to cover the loss, they can gets heart disease like you said. but if we are really decide that no matter how much bitcoin price it this, we are still holding our bitcoin and not selling before the price is reach more than $4000, its goods for us to just waiting and doing anything else so we don't have to gets panic when the price is down. people now thinking that bitcoin is more value and worth depend than gold but for people which lives in real world, still convince and believe with gold. its up to them what will they choose because its about their money and we can not push them to follow us.

In terms in price value gold is a little bit ahead but if you compare the different aspects between bitcoin and gold you'll know that bitcoin far surpasses gold.
Bitcoin can send $1 million worth of transaction without being tampered and will get confirmed especially now that segwit is activated.
Besides being fast it is also secure and anonymous unlike gold that might get rob down the road.
And with it's decentralized feature it is not regulated by governments unlike gold.

Gold is known and being used for a long time and we know which one is older and which is new.

Bitcoin cant be compared to gold by age but I can say that bitcoin is in a good path to have a greater success and I believe that it will be more successful crypto coin in the following years.

The answer would depend on who you are asking. If you ask a trader who is looking to make quick gains, I think the obvious answer at the moment is bitcoin. Even in the short term, bitcoin has been performing better, but if we are to look at the overall stability and value, then no doubt, gold would win over bitcoin. Better to just have the best of both worlds as the two of them have had great value compared to other investments available.
