Gold will always have its value on the market, while BTC is not 100% stable. However BTC is growing fast and starting to get its place at official currency list in some countrys why it will probably grow even more.
So gold is safer, but with BTC you have more options to make it worth your wild.

I'm not sure Bitcoin is better than gold, but I realize that some of the benefits that Bitcoin can bring that gold can not do is that you can not use gold to pay but Bitcoin does. Besides, Bitcoin helps me to make more money while gold is not possible. If gold last month instead of you invest in gold that invest in Bitcoin then you probably now become billionaire then. Finally, it is undeniable that gold is very stable so investing in gold is not a bad decision. ;D;D

I think this is an issue of personal preferrence, some prefer the solid cold, more stable gold while others prefer the digital more volatile BTC, Regarding price comparison, BTC is worth more than gold's oz now, but the stability and the different principles is that broad that comparing them two is meaningless.

At the current value we can say that bitcoin is much better than gold, but for stronger or stable investment i think gold is much dominant. We all know that gold is much secured investment and less risk than any other form of investment.

Exactly gold is way much better than bitcoin because if we compared two of them on the basis of stability, gold always win and best source of investment with less risk. As we all see few days back bitcoin drop from 2700$ to 1900$ which is very big loss for those who bought bitcoin at 26-27 hundred $. So i always prefer gold over bitcoin.

IF you are scared of losing money, I suggest you should never be here, buy as much gold as you want and wait for the price to go up lol. Bitcoin is a revolution to the world, it is new and we have to accept the price need to go up and down

In my own opinion, not necessarily. Both have its advantages and disadvantages. In some points, the other is better than the other. For example, bitcoin is better in terms of supply since its supply is fixed and known by everybody and not inclined to suffer disinflation. While gold can overproduce and lessen its value. But Bitcoin’s downfall can also be attributed to its medium. Not all government can be welcoming to this new currency and can shut down the internet in their country using “safety” or some other shit as an excuse. Or it can be a real hassle if you are in a middle of transaction when there’s a sudden blackout. And gold doesn’t really suffer these technological problems and cannot be disrupted by weak wifi connection. Or maybe Bitcoin can overthrow gold or maybe they can co-exist together, or maybe Bitcoin is becoming better than gold.

yes you are right bitcoin is better than gold in term of transferring that bitcoin can be transfer very easily as compare to gold but not only this benefit bitcoin is offering, actually bitcoin is offering something new and more beneficial like in term of investment the bitcoin investment is more profitable as compare to gold because of increasing price and also the other benefit is that bitcoin is more safe as compare to gold in terms of security.

If someone were to give me say, $10K US and said, "This is all yours, but you have to use it all today to buy either gold or bitcoin and hodl whichever one you buy for at least 20 years." I personally would buy bitcoin. My decision would be based on risk-reward. Sure, gold has relatively and significantly much lower risk than hodling bitcoin as pointed out in many above posts. However, the potential reward as far as future value of that $10K worth of bitcoin today is much, much more higher than that of gold - just my amateur humble opinion, of course. And if it were my own $10K that I earned, I would still choose bitcoin for the same reasons.

Bitcoin is designed either short or long term and they are both profitable and it always depends on the price that you bought but if you want to be on a profitable and safe investment then long term is the best and i can say about gold is, it will just give you slow profit.

I think that too mate but i think also in the other side we can easily say that bitcoin is better than gold because of the current value of bitcoin but if you think for long term i will give my trust in gold. Gold exist for more decades or century and the investor is continuous getting profit on it.
