I don't know what your friend is feeling now, for sure he is now regretting that he sold it way back then at 2011 for few bucks. There is someone that asked me before about bitcoin and he is truly no knowledge with it but now because he has wide background and has other friends who knows about bitcoin, he is boasting me with me. ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif)

I´ve been asked by two friends. One asked me about the price increase, he asked me about Bitcoin and for cryptocoins and he was interested, especially when I explained him some of the possibilities of bitcoin like use it to send money to other people in other parts of the world or to pay in stores when the adoption of bitcoin is majority. The other person who asked me did it by ramsonware attack, he asked me why they required to be paid in bitcoin.
Some of my friends ask me about bitcoin because they want also to earn money so that I explain something about bitcoin. In addition to that, I help them how to use bitcoin and how to get bitcoin. I also show some blog and article about bitcoin to know then it fully. I and friends were very happy because we can make money by using bitcoin.

In my area of origin there are many people who ask what is Bitcoin, and how to use it and get bitcoin, then I answer and explain, Bitcoin is a digital currency that can be exchanged for real currency and its usage is quite easy to understand. With all circles

If i hadn't been a bitcoin user, most likely the people around me will not even know bitcoin exists. the good thing is i've been telling people about bitcoin because they'd asked
where did I get my money since i'm just a student. every now and then they are asking about bitcoin and some did get their interest on it for different reasons such as they also
wanted to earn or they find bitcoin magical. the sad part is the other two persons have given up learning because they said that it was too deep for them.

Nobody's asking about it as most people that I talked about bitcoin before were not really got interested with that and they don't actually know that its price is now starting to get on the peak . Well it doesn't matter for if they were not asking me for the help on how they can understand bitcoin, how and where they can get it at least I am not bothered to answer them ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) lol .

To date, quite a large number of people are beginning to talk about Bitcoin and I'm increasingly listening to mass concerns about the fact that the crypto currency is becoming very popular. We even started talking about creating our own crypto currency.

I imagine that there are still too many people who haven't heard of bitcoin or don't own any. I'm curious though if anyone has found a source that tallied up the total number of bitcoin addresses.

The Belgian community had doubled as well in a few days time. A lot of non-tech friends are asking me to help out with buying BTC and ETH. I try to help them as much as possible however they don't have the trading feeling yet and the mentality to follow the news/charts daily. They still think that they can earn a quick buck by just buying Btc/Eth... I always tell them that I'm not responsible for any losses (their personal choice and I won't give advice).

A lot, most seem to be interested in the alt-coin markets however. Not sure what to tell them about that at the moment (I cashed out when it was edging back from 3k, was exhausted and felt like I had been plugged in 24/7 for 3 months straight. Dunno if I can go back in, the polo ticker haunts my dreams hah). I'll refer them to this forum and a couple faucets and get more in depth if they're serious. I do have to say I'm enjoying the unspoken (and some spoken) "I TOLD YALL, I CALLED IT, TOLD YALL HAH" I get to emanate towards the people I tried to tip off a few months back but brushed me off haha

This is so funny. I really want to tell the same all those who closed their doors when I opened this opportunity to them. But I also want to congratulate my one friend for he has tried trading with altcoin and today is his first profit. I really want to share it to more of my friends but I think they like to wait until I say those lines. haha

My mother and my brother now that I started to profit on the internet with Bitcoin and that it is getting media attention because of the recent ransomware. Other than that, I've never heard a single person talking about Bitcoin on the street, even though some friends of mine know the basics of Bitcoin and recognize the word when I talk about it. I think it's too early for Bitcoin to become mainstream here in Brazil.
Me too, part of my family are asking me about btc, it hard to explain to them because their generation are different from mine but when it becomes on getting an extra income they beame more curious about. They keep asking me how does it work and where do I get does money. And also my classmates are asking about it and now they are also in to it. Im happy that somehow I kinda help them to get extra income and now we and my friends are gaining through btc.

They are not interested on bitcoin, unless you are going to tell them that they could earn money on it, and that is the time where they are going to be interested on it, but still, it depends, it depends if they are going to take bitcoin seriously, because most of them are just only interested on first but after they've found that it is not that easy to earn money on bitcoin, they are going to quit it in an instant.

All my friends know what bitcoin is. Some do business with bitcoin, some just heard what bitcoin is
Good for you. My classmates don't believe in the potential of cryptocurrencies, without even proper research they're just laughed and told me that it is a scam. Many people here is beginning to think what lies ahead and what business they will make before cryptocurrencies go to major cities and become the major cryptocurrency. Some are just silently working in the shadows because they don't let people know that they are earning a lot of money in cryptocurrencies. We have our own way, some people just ask to mock you, some are investigating and some are watching how it will turn out. My favorite is the one who put a shoulder on you and said let's do this shall we? Let them, we will see if it is a scam in the next 10 years and when that happens you can be sure they are going to lament that no one tell them about this new technology bitcoin, of course, they will conveniently forget the fact that you did everything in your power to try to convince them to join you in the way to achieve financial independence
