I lol so hard at the BU blocks. Why? Why oh why! -edit- looks like the BU blocks are slowly dying so whoever was running BU nodes is slowly migrating.
Never fear, the big blockers will be back with their next hard fork coup attempt in the guise of bitcoinABC.

And Band of UASF Brothers will be waiting for them again. We till throw them into the sea just like the last time. Cool

is it true that some miners are already mining the new fork or something?

No. The only evidence of mining activity is everyone switching to a BIP91 compatible client.

On 22nd July 2017, we will be launching a brand new BCC mining pool and lock the activation time of UAHF at 12:20 1st August 2017 (UTC Time).

If you decide to switch and mine on the BCC chain, you will still be mining BTC before UAHF activates at 12:20 1st August 2017 (UTC time) and switch to mine BCC after UAHF is activated.

Would there be a UAHF on August 1?

1. UAHF on August 1.
2. Segwit2x hard fork by November.

This UAHF wouldn't fork the complete network, right? Miners could opt to mine on BCC (altcoin) chain.

This is a bit confusing, why go through the whole Segwit2x drama when they still want to deploy UAHF? Maybe because they know there wouldn't be a majority for the hard fork on November?

There won't be a UAHF because segwit will get activated before then.

BIP91 blocks are at 52.1% now. I lol so hard at the BU blocks. Why? Why oh why! -edit- looks like the BU blocks are slowly dying so whoever was running BU nodes is slowly migrating.

.... what's about the 2x later this year. Do you care? Do core care?

I don't know if Core cares, but I for sure don't. I don't necessarily want the block size increase for now, just segwit. However I do realize that all the signatory parties to the NYC agreement promised they will hard fork later. I would assume they will keep their word, but we shall see. Just please not the Bitcoin ABC monstrosity!

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"

No. The only evidence of mining activity is everyone switching to a BIP91 compatible client.

Does anyone have links or information concerning the supposed large number of BIP91 renditions?  Is there really a possibility that some might be more inclusive of the 2x portion of segwit 2x and others do not have that 2x portion in their code?

1) Self-Custody is a right.  There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

There's no way to tell from the blocks alone, but I can speak for at least 4 pools I know of that are running BIP91 only clients Wink

OK - looks like miners colluded (intention)  down to about 90% and choose SW2x - question: what have nodes to do now ?

Keep using core 0.14.2 and wait till segwit is locked in and wait for many confirms on any transactions until then in case of chain reorganisations.

I'd like to add:

... and for the love of all that is Bitcoin, take all of your BTC out of anywhere where you don't control the keys.....

Definitely do this too. Right now everyone should be pulling everything out of the exchanges they've been treating as banks.

It boggles the mind why people keep on doing this. Even an SPV wallet is better! At least with those you own the private keys. If the exchanges have issues your coins could be locked away until they sort out their problems.

Anyone know what's up with some of the smaller pools like Kano, Slush? Are they going for BIP91 ?

I believe that the rumors about the separation of bitcoin whales distribute with cheap to buy all our coins. I won't sell my coins, but I will stop all my transactions. I don't want to lose them due to a technical failure.
