ow I pay like $ 0,32 KWH
They changed my express shipping (paid $ 88 for it) to standard shipping. That's like 2 weeks from US to EU. If I upgrade to express shipping it's a freaking $ 800 (2 day delivery)!!!  Angry

We are doing this to be sure everyone is aware of the power issue (and to a lesser extent the size issue re Jalapeno/Single) with the product and accepts the changed specs.  If not, we will happily refund your money, since you may have ordered a product with different specs than what we are forced to send.

And this is what we have been talking about, this is absolutely professional.

Josh, I have hope for you guys Wink

Because BFL screwed up power consumption (ASICS need about 5x more power than planned/guessed/hoped) they need bigger casings. Bigger casings means higher shipping costs.

So you get your units later (original shipping was scheduled for October 2012), with less performance, and a higher shipping price.

Thank you, BFL. Not.

Bullshit. As an online retailer myself, I'm pretty confident in telling you that this almost certainly has nothing to do with the size, and everything to do with international shipping. The price quoted for express shipping is for CONUS. There's not a shipping company in the world that will do overnight U.S. to Europe for $88. Lots of retail systems will approve a flat shipping rate intended to one region without verifying that the item is actually shipping to that region. It takes a human with some common goddamn sense to look at it and go "Yeah, Europe isn't in the CONUS," and adjust the order.

It takes a special kind of retard to assume that a moderately larger item (in roughly the same size box and weight) is going to cost 10x as much. Overnight shipping to Europe was NEVER available for $88. It was a system glitch, that was caught by an actual person processing orders.

Got my email...am OK with the Jalapeño needing a power supply, as it makes any USB power concerns moot.  My only concern is how long it'll take them to get to late-August orders like mine.  Grin

Once you create an account (if you havent already) and log in, there is a pop up where you can either accept, or request a refund.

I see a "print order / reorder." What exactly does it say? Thank you.

When you log in, it should be a pop up that wont let you continue until  you either acccept, or refund.  You account should say "processing"  If it doesnt, or you are concerned about your status, drop a message to their support and confirm your status.

I ordered back in July and August when there were no accounts on BFL..or at least I didn't have to create one. So I created an account last night using the same email address as my orders and obviously there are no open orders in my account so i'm not sure how to verify. I sent them an email and opened a ticket but i'm sure they're pretty swamped right about now so who knows how long that will take to get back to me. Anyone else in this situation that knows what else to do? I'm sure the answer is "be patient and do what they tell you to do" but I'm freaking out here. It's been so long. I needs my ASIC fix. Daddy's sick, baby.

***update***Jody sorted me out via email. If anyone else is in the same position make sure you're using the same email address you ordered with. The first account I had created was using an alias email address, not the proper full version that is my reply to address.

Ha! No, April 13! :-) Thankfully I haven't been waiting that long. It says my order is processing so guess I'm ok.

Just got an email to confirm my order.

People with orders need to confirm within 48 hours or their order will be canceled (BFL says they will contact people before canceling orders.)

Stop spreading FUD. I don't know where you read that but Josh has clearly stated that the timeframe is 10 days.

You're right.  I ordered the 30GH/s little single on 4/2 and did not have to confirm and status is processing.

FUD?

There's no FUD in what I wrote.  I don't remember where I saw it and it may be inaccurate, but it's certainly not FUD.
