When will BTC be at $5,000?

Why does there have to be a correction? This is bitcoin not a stock or mutual fund. There are no rules or patterns from years of trading to go by. Bitcoin is.its own animal. If japan keeps buying and more countries also jump on board, the momentum will keep gaining steam. Thoughts?

In an older post back in December 05 2013 I post a thread asking when do you think BTC would be at $2,000, well it took almost 42 months to achieved that goal.
Now that the price is at $2,259 USD, I am asking the same Question, but changing the target to $5,000 USD.

Things will definitely move faster from now on. We will see $5000 sooner than we might think.
Recent news that scaling solutions have been finally found is driving the market crazy.
If we will push off chain scaling even more and add Rootstock smart contract functionality to the bitcoin price will skyrocket to the moon.

The price increase is very rapid and next year we will definitely be able to see this mark, although it may at the end of this year. It depends on whether another country will take Bitcoin.

I believe it will happen next year, between the beginning and half of 2018. But it will only happen if more people adopt it, not normal, ordinary people, but some important businesses and investors from technology businesses, investment businesses and those businesses that exist in many countries (subsidiaries), which have much influence over others and over some niches.

Maybe if the bitcoin price goes up as it is today with a stable, by 2019 we might be able to see the $ 5000 price and it's probably a stable price. Maybe we used to see the $ 5000 price impossible to achieve, but looking at the current bitcoin price, I guess that's not impossible anymore.

But what about the scaling debate? Sooner or later someone or a group of people in Bitcoin will become so desperate that they think their only choice is to do a questionable fork. Not only will it split the blockchain but it will also crash the price.

I think the price of bitcoins would reach 5000$ by the end of this september of 2017.The price of bitcoins is growing higher and higher as mass acceptance is there all over the globe and every day the price hike is more than 5% nearly so in my guess 5000$ ,will be in no time.

I would like to but let's just wait and see if it's going to happen. Ofcourse, that would be great if we hit that amount. For me, I will wait for that time and I'm hoping for that time. For the meantime, think how will you encourage other people to use or buy bitcoin because the more users the more chances the amount be as high as people want's

I'm going to base my speculation on the movement of bitcoin's price today.

I think that we will be hitting $5,000 very soon and we only need to wait for it as there are more people investing to bitcoin.

Maybe the plausible speculation is that we will see it before this year ends.

That Speculation over the value to exceeds to $2000 over a 3 to 5 months was really not expected back then, and it took almost a year to put us in these kind of value and back then it is 2013 almost 4 years to take us this far, and I think in reaching that kind of price margin we would need 2 months and that is on mid of July.

It's impossible to reach any sort of consensus when an important part of the industry consists of hidden-agenda-entities.

It's clear that we need an immediate option that we can initiate to finally, or at least temporarily get rid of these destructive block size debates.

The sooner UASF gets initiated, the sooner we can really make a step forward. It's frustrating how something so pure and refreshing as Bitcoin is being held back by greedy miners.

Where did you get your crystal ball? Can you teach us how to make such insightful predictions?

That's too soon in my opinion, but I think within 6 months for sure. I also think there will be a major correction at 5k$ before returning back to normal increases over time, btc has just gone up too fast to be organic growth.

In my own opinion...perhaps bitcoins price will reach that amount before year 2017 or maybe next year. It is possible to attain that amount if it will rise and keep growing. I guess its just normal for bitcoin to dump today...just for the come back of bitcoin.
