When will BTC be at $5,000?

That's right $5k is possible in next few years and for this year maximum I think it can go to $3500 and not more then that and if it touches that price many of the users will be satisfied and will prefer to sell some of their coins to collect the profits and I think that is the right move to make as there is no point in holding your coins at that price.

I think also the price of bitcoin will be $5000 in 2018 but in this year I think the price around $3000-$4000 before nd of the year 2017. No one can peedict the exacr amount of bitcoin in the next few months or maybe few years. But I hope the price will increase more so the bitcoin world become happy.. I dont like bitcoin dump again but if its happen again I have support and plan I will buy more and wait again the price to increase before sell to make profit.

but i am sure that 5k is possible in next few moths. if the price of bitcoin start increasing just like it take a rally in previous days then there are more chance that it will hit 5000 USD at the end of 2017,  i think we just meed to hear another good news from bitcoin and it will start boosting again. and i am sure that still there are plenty of good news about bitcoin are coming to hear.

I think that the wealth of the world is just starting to funnel into bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.  It will take a long time to get all of that fiat into bitcoin.  You can't just shove it all in at once or you'd wake up to a million dollar (or multi-million dollar) bitcoin price overnight.  You got to funnel a little bit, then let it settle, funnel some more, etc.  Kind of like pouring a glass of beer and letting the foam settle before you keep pouring.

Of course, according to the forecasts of specialists, it is very clearly stated that the higher the Bitcoin price rises, the slower it will be. But if you look at the trajectory of growth from the beginning of 2017, you can notice that Bitcoin practically started growing from $ 1,000 per coin and by that time there were moments of growth up to $ 2,700. This is a very good indicator.

This is a very bold forecast. I do not think that bitcoin can achieve such a price only because of the growing popularity among people. There must be an important event at the governmental level in order for the price to rise

I think we will reach the price of 5000 at the end of 2018 or at the beginning of 2019 there is enough time for bitcoin to reach that price, it maybe soon to some but I think bitcoin has really the opportunity to get a lot of growth in this next months and years

Everyone hopes so. And for this already there are prerequisites. Many people already understand the advantages of cryptocurrency. Therefore, the price of $ 5,000 is not that unattainable. I think that this will happen within 18 months

Increasing demand, which can basically be seen as increasing popularity, is exactly what pushes the market forwards. We can't expect more than what Japan has done from governments in general. So far the price has gone up due to increasing demand, and that's exactly how it will continue. The only other aspect I believe will play an important role in the future, is capital from institutional investors to flow into Bitcoin -- that will be the real bomb.

18 months is not a long time for a price of $ 5000, but let's hope it happens, because it would be really profitable if we had more than 5 btc at the time. Well, but I do not think that will happen.

I dont think after 2 years more before we see the price reach at $5000 maybe this year or next year the price will hit like that. Because if you see the bitcoin price its very high and many big investor are invest bitcoin and many country adapt bitcoin so its better buy bitcoin and hold fo few months to make a lot of peofit. Even china try to dump bitcoin they will recober again and again for sure.

It would make sense to have this price in 2020 with the next halving. However with this bull market I won't be surprised we see this price in 2018. 2017 is a long shot.

This is right, the Japanese government already did its homework, they approved bitcoin so now it is time for the Japanese people to take advantage of this new opportunity that has presented itself to them, I really think the Japanese government is not going to change but just in case they need to take advantage of this fast.

Well, in the beginning of this year,every one predicted that bitcoin price would reach $2000 by year end.But bitcoin has reached $2829 within five months.If bitcoin goes in this speed,definitely it would not be a surprise if bitcoin price crosses $5000 by this year end.

As we have come​ close to the price of $3000, now once again the speculations for the next barrier has got begun. When we talk about $5000, surely a possible price and in my view this could take around at least an years time reach as we need big pumps along with certain stabilty.

For now I can't really say an exact prediction for it's price because even at $3000 we struggled to reach it this year, and in fact there were dumpings happening in the system of economy of bitcoin digital currency. So if we ask for a $5000 price of btc, well it should take a lot of efforts and time on how we convince and promote bitcoin to the world. Do your part now and make a deeper convictions on how we can provide learnings to the people around us, and because of that it may help the economy of bitcoin to become progressive and successful.

I think that $5k is possible to achieve at the end of the year as now we are getting closer to the price of $3k which can be achieve in next few days and once it reaches there we can start dreaming of $5k price.
