I am waiting on a quote from them once they look over the files. They were one of the less expensive solutions, though I am not sure if they are equipped to handle parts this small.
Just in case you missed it, BKK is talking about component changes to deal with the ASIC signalling. Yes, thank you. The companies contacted are aware we are still in the testing phase and the design may change. How will orders be prioritized now that 3 fulfillment options are available?
You mentioned shipping priority based on order time/date... does this carry over to other fulfillment options, i.e. hosing or unit assembly. For example, if John placed the first order in batch 1 but chooses to have his chips assembled into a unit with K16, will the next in line (from an order perspective) be shipped their chips prior to John's board being shipped? Yes of course. I will not wait to ship the chips for those that choose that option. If any orders placed before yours opt for assembly, your raw chip order will move forward in the shipping cue.

Yes I noticed that. A very good price indeed, though still a bit higher than what I'm looking for. I have received a quote today that just may fit the bill, and two more are scheduled for Monday. I am in the process of verifying the quotes now. Purchases received, recorded, and replied. It's looking like Monday/Tuesday I will have the prices nailed down for finished assembly of the boards and chips, along with fans and power supplies. Standoffs and heatsinks are on deck to be worked on.

steamboat - when you say "sending address" in the OP, are you referring to your payment address for this batch? (1JWBFSmxeAMxK8W2GdpBPMKgc3z71yVkFa)
Apologies if this seems obvious - haven't heard of it referred to in such away before.
EDIT: Ah - believe I see it now. The corresponding address shown in the left column when you look up a transaction ID on blockchain.info Was confused as I couldn't find it in the bitcoin-qt client

So what I hear you saying is this: Chips-only orders will be shipped first, based on order queue Assembled chips w/PBC orders will be assembled and shipped second, based on order queue Hosted chips will be assembled and hosted within 48 hours, regardless of queue position Just clarifying for those who will determine what they do based on the order of priority.

That is correct. The raw chips will be on the way to their final destination first as they only need repackaging. If you are chip #10,000 and everyone ahead of you chooses assembly, you will ship first. Miner shipping and hosting will be occurring simultaneously, as the chips arrive from the assembly house, and will be based on the batch cue.

Steamboat I have 40 chips from you from batch 2 - if I'm looking to get a K64 done is it best I order another 24 from current batch or will you sell 24 to round up during production?

Thanks for the update, steamboat! [ ... ] Any boards scheduled for hosting will have final assembly, firmware installation, and cluster integration within 48 hours of receipt from the assembly house.
Not sure what you mean here - are you planning on offering a hosting service? That is correct. I will be offering hosting services in addition to chip purchase and finished boards. Do you have an idea of the cost for 'hosted' chips and/or boards? Do you also assemble the boards? Being in S. Florida along with you, I feel you are my best connection for this (instead of another country for sure!). ditto, I myself am in deerfield beach.

I will only round up/down in multiples of 16. This is to prevent abuse, and limit the amount of chips spent from my personal purchase. I have a feeling even this is going to be abused, as some are ordering two or three chips more than a full board. Do you have an idea of the cost for 'hosted' chips and/or boards? Do you also assemble the boards? Being in S. Florida along with you, I feel you are my best connection for this (instead of another country for sure!).

Yes, I will be offering assembly services. The details are not quite yet ready for release. I'm waiting on a few pieces to fall where I want them before I let you guys know how it will work. The cost for the boards is the same as it is for assembly of shipped miners. The hosting will be based on a percentage of the revenue generated from the chip. The number is looking like 8%, plus electricity. This is not etched in stone as I still have to do the math, but I believe it's low enough to give miners a respectable ROI target, and still cover the expenses associated with setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, overhead, etc etc. I'm thinking this too,Port Saint Lucie here ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Can we pick up chips/PCB's in person ?? All these Floridians. Yes, pickup is available during normal business hours.

Not sure about others but I did this to have a few spares to replace dead ones (ordered 32 in round 1 and 34 in round 3, planning for 32 in assembly and 2 loose chips for repairs or K1s). Did I break a rule?
