I have 80 points. 4 winning games and 1 correct score. I am in the near low bottom but this is only the first week and was an enjoyable experience so far. I thought also I got correct score for Man.Utd as I had it 2-0 but they scored 2 goals and brought it to 4-0 in the very last minutes of the game.

Pretty average result for me.  Got 60 points but I'm happy.  I hope the leaderboard gets updated soon, I wanna see who's leading.  

Some of the games were crazy tho, weren't they?  Good set of games for the season opener.

I believe hilariousetc pointed out that the leading score was 110 points.

Yeah,  quite frustrating it hasn't yet. It's a shame it isn't constantly updated.

That will probably be an above average score for this round to be honest. I'm sure there are people who got no correct scores and a lot of outcomes wrong with the shock results.

We'll that's just going by the ones that were publicly posted. Somebody else could have got three or more correct scores which would put them straight to the top.

I got killed in this first round by attempting shock results for the wrong teams... a Man Utd draw, a Newcastle upset for example. Even my own Liverpool confounded me by being much of the same they were last season. Lessons learnt? A team's pre-season is not indicative of opening day performance. Anyone else think the doomsday cultists are starting a bit too early on Chelsea?

I suppose this is extra proof of why I should keep my day job

Sometimes it's worth the gamble on shock results because there's rarely a week where everything will go as expected. There's usually always shockers on the first weeks games as well. It doesn't matter if you haven't got many points especially at this stage of the season because a couple of correct score predictions will take you to the top. People wont have the same luck throughout the season either and everyone will have bad weeks so expect the table to fluctuate wildly but maybe some solid tipsters will appear gradually.

And yeah, it's obviously too early to write Chelsea off, though losing to Burnley at Stamford Bridge is pretty embarrassing.

I was looking at the total points leaderboard of everyone who is participating on the BBC site and there's two users joint top with 230 points (out of 116869 users).

This week was really hard,there were 3 impossible results to predict: liverpool draw, and defeats at home, for chelsea and crystal palace!

Damn it, I only have 50 points. Chelsea & Liverpool were very unexpected results so that screwed me. I will need to do much better next time. Just going to go & have a look at submitting next round's predictions right now.

If anyone wasn't careful it was you. Why didn't you submit them to the predictor? If you post a screenshot of your results on the predictor (to make sure you didn't change them) we can add your points on at the end of the season but there's nothing I can do about putting them on to the table now.

hilarious doesn't control the BBC predictor table buddy. You didn't do your predictions correctly, they weren't even submitted were they, that's why it says 0 points. It's nothing to do with hilarious.

I have signed up on BBC and hilario just suggested me to register there and we have to make predictions in Games and rounds section not on BBC, so what is my fault???

My personal problem is with you telling me to be careful, when it's you who wasn't careful and didn't input your scores to the site (everyone else managed this). I've already said if you sent me a screenshot of your results on the BBC predictor (to make sure you didn't change them) I will count them at the end of the season but I can't magically edit the BBC table to include them.

For all I know you could have made your predictions and they all lost. Everyone else managed to input their scores apart from you so it's nobody else's fault but your own. I mentioned several times that we were using the BBC site and posting your scores here wasn't mandatory:

To be honest, once you tell me to register on the BBC I think that's enough and after registering on BBC, I never again access that site. Then i think posting in games and rounds is enough and then i think BBC just to show the rank on this contest.

I know, but that's what I want you to prove. Send me a screenshot of that zero points because it's possible you changed your scores (though as I said initially this isn't likely and I don't believe it to be the case but just so there's no complaints from others). Once you've done that we can make note of the 80 points you should have had.
