I am now getting
300H/s on RX 570  2174 on memory +36 Power Limit
136.5H/s on RX 560 1800+ Memory +20+ Power Limit
Is this good?
55-57 degrees temps

It's running ZecMiner64 from NiceHash.

My RX 560 took forever to actually get over 8.8Mh/s It finally went to 11 on its own. (It then switched to ZecMiner, so I sort of know how to clock it for that)

I use:
AMD A10 6300 @ stock clock, 3 out of 4 cores mining XMR @ 45-47H/s with Claymore_Old on MinerGate pool.

You'd have better cpu hashrate on XMR with 2 core setting affinity to cores 1 & 3

I am total newbie in mining world.
So guys, as I understood rx 560 are not bad cards for mining eth, but I saw that there are several types of rx 560 cards which makes big differences.
So which card with what specification is best to increase mh/s to 14 or even 15 ?

Choose cards with 1024 shaders and try to avoid cards with 896 shaders.
For instance, Sapphire cards:
1024: 11267-00 and 11267-01
896: 11267-18 and 11267-20

However, some of the 896 can be unlocked to 1024.  Wink

I  believe RX560 is quite and good card for mining right now.

15 MH/s for 130 euros, Rx 580 armor 420 euros in Portugal it´s very big price for this card.

How exactly do you get 15 MH/s?
It's interesting to me as well. Yesterday I've bought several RX560 with Hylix memory. Using timings from bits.media forum I've managed to get ~14.2Mh/s ETH. The cards can work with the same timings up to 14.5-14.6 but with no stability though.

Is this just for ETH or other algos as well? I am trying to understand whether the custom timings work overall and increase the performance or they are good just for certain algos?
I searched a bit through the bits.media forum but couldn't find specific thread for RX560, only found 570/580. Can you please advise?

what else? Is it enough to get rx 560 with 1024 shaders to get 14mh/s ?

The memory speed must be 1750 MHz or higher. 1500 MHz is crab.

The Micron strap RX560 ... 15,2 eth ... 480 xmr :
777000000000000022AA1C0073626C41B0551016BA0D260B0060060004061420EA8940AA0300000 01914292EB22E3B16
or use OneClickPBE.
Seems, Clem is using a paid strap from Mattthev.
@Clem, is your strap is different than the above one?

Yes for the Hynix one i confirm is the timing from Mattthev (can't achieve stable rig without his timing) (so i will not share it)

For Micron  that the one. You can push MEM on micron from 2200 to 2300 (pretty stable) but if you want to reduce PWR better to use

(HiveOS OC configuration) COR: 1125 DPM:3 V:850 MEM: 2200 and gonna give you 480H/s for ~35W.

Add option -h 896 if you use claymore for XMR.

Hi Clems,

I have 6 RX560 4Gb Sapphire cards,

I copy your strap from 1625 to 2000 in my bios and flash 2 of my GPU and run ati patcher. I started claymore with cocre clock 1125 and memory 2100. GPUs start mining about 15 - 15.1 MHs but they worked only for 2-3 minut and crash.

Any advice what else I should change in my settings?

Thank you

Try MEM 2080 and if not working reduce MEM... Seems your card is not supporting high memory.

RX are good for Cryptonight (XMR/ETN...).

I have a couple of ASUS cards that were originally 896&1500. After unlocking to 1024 and changing the straps they give ~14Mh/s ETH.
However for sure I agree that if you have several options it's better to take 1750 ones.

For ETH you need at least 3Gb

many thanks for your answers guys !

So ok. It's better to get 1750 ones, ram must be at least 3gb. What else guys? Wink Is it hard to tweak the cards and increase mhs to 14?
also, are you buying these cards locally or trying to buy from some sites ?if from sites, maybe you could recommend any ?

Yes, I'm about ETH only.
Currently I'm using the following strap (for Hylix):
999000000000000022C39C00AC595A3D90550F123CCF530C004006007E0514206A8900A00200312 0100F292F94273116

Another one I didn't try yet is:

clock 1080
memory 2100
