What a week! Our team member, Brigita (she's such a sunshine), was spotted in Riga! 🌍✈️ But she wasn't there for the dazzling nightlife (though we wouldn't blame her 😉). Nope. She was there presenting the results of our pilot in the project I-NERGY. 📊
The project takes place in a cozy retirement home in Slovenia🏡 where 220 elderly people live. In simpler terms, what we are doing is making their home ultra-smart. It will know people's favorite song and also nudge the caretaker if they're up past their bedtime because of the cha cha cha dance. 💃🕺 It will know if they are cold, monitor their safety, and more!

Yesterday we were attending the event on Innovation in Energy. This is the largest autumn gathering of key stakeholders in advanced energy and industry in Slovenia.
Distinguished experts engaged in discussions about the latest energy trends and innovations. Also our director, Jošt Štrukelj, who provided valuable insights on topics like active electricity consumption, new price structures, and green investments.

An Amsterdam-based international research agency Glocalities recently conducted a study about solar energy, which involved 21,290 respondents across 21 countries. These represent over 50% of the world's population and were selected to ensure global coverage.
Here’s what the researchers found:
●       68% of respondents worldwide prefer solar energy 🌞
●       Only 2% of global energy consumption currently comes from solar power
●       Solar energy leads as the most favored energy source, followed by wind (54%), hydropower (36%), and nuclear (24%)
This preference for solar energy transcends borders, offering a unifying pathway to a cleaner future. It's a game-changer that holds immense potential for humanity. However, to make this transition a reality, leaders must bridge the gap between their strategies and the values of people worldwide.
