Thanks. So it's a known thing; I'll just wait it out then. I do wonder why they prefer to do it manually.
Old school method. Cron can be super lazy in case of server crash/failure and don't execute the jobs missed

You don't need to make a statement; I know what I'm talking about as this is literally the same setup that I've been using for a very long time.
I have too. And glitches happen. Depending on how they automated it, there are quite a few scenarii that can explain a non working automatic renewal. Happened to me once or twice in the last couple years. Is there no option to renew monthly or biweekly? This would potentially solve their problem and make everything a bit more secure. Receiving private keys over plain text isn't something I'd risk... Although no one seems to have lost out from this glitch and it was quite quickly resolved for ChipMixer. Their chips also seem to have run out at the moment. @lauda, as an FYI most of us have posted in the Ann thread so anything posted will likely be replied to fairly quickly but I don't have any issues with you posting in here personally if that's what you want to do...

lol, just read the ANN thread and now I can see the auto renew discussion is on heavy load. EDIT: @Lauda: don't waste your time to argue with the CM fanboys. they're right always and forever in their own eyes only. Are CM fanboys stands for ChipMixer Fanboys?

Yeah... Gyrsur has had a "chip" on his shoulder (if you'll pardon the pun) regarding ChipMixer or, more correctly, Darkstar_ and the CM sig campaign, since around Aug 2017 when he disagreed with Darkstar_'s methods for choosing campaign participants, the lack of a "waiting list" for the campaign and a perceived "lack of transparency" regarding how participants are chosen. He pops up now and again to troll... and unfortunately, some members just can't help but take the bait

to respond to what? that you act according to intransparent rules which you apply just on some users and on others not? It's vital you report this to your local police station at their signature campaign department. There's really no other way.

will do it! thank you.
How stupid is it to argue with me and let me make take over the thread for advertising the competitor.
If it shows anything it's that anyone with more than 2 braincells can see that "our" competitor hires braindead posters to advertise for them, which should definitely be something to take into account when thinking about using their service. You're only discrediting the service you're advertising for by fueling your anti-CM fetish imo. I don't possibly see how you making libelous claims is in any way beneficial to said competitor. But if they pay you for this, hey, be my guest and good luck.

Horrible what people try to do.

Anyone posting in this thread while being part of any of my campaigns below this post will be removed without notice or payment. We can all prosper from this forum and there's no need to take it to these threads to duke it out. We have the Reputation sub & PM's, use those if necessary.
This is nothing against you Gyrsur, I've just had the same thing happen to me in my campaign threads and it's only annoying while also leading nowhere. Always remember that it takes two to tango. I felt it necessary for me to step in as I can feel for Darkstar_.

Was getting paid via lightning network a spoof or not? I've noticed there's an android app for it and if I can get the thing to work I might be interested . Edit: I have the lightning stuff sorted. Just need 6 confirms.

Open a channel just to make a transaction every week? I think i'll pass unless i make lots of transaction through LN or i can route lots of transaction through DarkStar_ channel That's how it would look like, in my opinion. DarkStar opens a channel to one of the most well-connected nodes with a maximum amount of BTC per channel (~0.16 BTC). Participants of this campaign interested in receiving payments via the Lightning Network would have to open a channel to that node. Note that before receiving money over the Lightning Network, you have to make space for those incoming funds and that's the biggest issue here. Also, ' Sphinx' is still only a draft so every week users would have to generate an invoice and send it to DarkStar. DarkStar's channel would quickly run out of available funds.

DarkStar opens a channel to one of the most well-connected nodes with a maximum amount of BTC per channel (~0.16 BTC).
Workaround: open e.g. 10 channels to the most connected node -> you have 10x capacity. -snip- The limit increases with time and stability. It used to be aroind 0.03 btc, now its higher.
It's about software maturity. If you really wanted to do it, you could lift this limit right now. Anyone posting in this thread while being part of any of my campaigns below this post will be removed without notice or payment.
Just don't count it at all (only relevant for people in PPP campaigns); don't kick people out if it is on-topic/non-trolling.

@lauda, I'm running an spv client so I actually can't... I can't run a node due to WiFi censorship (/something else).
