Merit isn't exactly a secret though. And getting an invite isn't that difficult. Although it leads me back to my original question to him is how are you assigning value to it? I tried it for a few days on my 1080 ti rigs and here are my issues with it: 1) miner (wallet miner & standalone miner) is pretty much in pre-alpha stage. takes up all CPU resources and doesn't utilize all 6 cards. 2) the two available pools (pool and parachute) are down 30% of the time 3) until today, there was no exchange 4) have to reiterate the state of the miner...almost useless not to mention that is probably just another shit coin. I really wanted to like this project, but it's not ready to be mined, even for those that like to adopt early coins. |

Even if it stays at 50 cents a merit, I don't think the risk/reward of mining this is there. Seems like a solid project, but clearly they are putting the platform ahead of worrying about miners making money. |

I don't know about ethos, but you need to use the new EWBF miner for the 144,5 variant of equihash that BTG forked to. If it's not been added to Ethos you will need to use Windows or a different Linux option. |
