I think the most profitable use of 1080tis right now is Overwatch, or maybe Destiny 2. Having some fun now and then, during hot summer especially, sounds better than mining!

Profits look to be extremely low right now. Not profitable at all with the current cards. Sucks.
Now it`s normal. 1080ti is a really powerful GPU but if you count with price/profitability - 1060(3) much better then 1080ti. If you have enough free space of course. I guess it would be a faster ROI because of the price of 1060 TI's but like you said, you'd need a hell of a lot of room to set up 24 1060's and that power draw would be a beast. It's not only that, you must also calculate expense that rise with additional cables, risers, PSUs, mbo and all stuff you need if you cannot hookup all cards to one rig, and you usually cannot. ROI cannot be calculated just from GPU perspective because it gives you false results.

This is 82% of full price. Yet, with 1080ti rigs you have to buy really powerful PSU, that costs much more then little PSU for 1060 rig. Last my PSU were 1.5KWt PSU for server usage. It costs about 400$ and for full 1080ti rig i need 2 such PSU. For 1060 rig PSU costs about 120-150$.

Last 5 hrs results with Nemos auto algo and zpool:
0.00047437 BTC. Not sure it will be seeing more after full 24 hrs. may need to run for few days for a more accurate daily profit? Still not sure any more fee deduction when doing the BTC transfer.
give and take it will do 0.0005 BTC in 5 hours, this is like 0.0024 BTC/day. which is far from Nicehash 0.0032 estimate! I already feel that 0.0032 BTC/day from Nicehash is not optimised.
Really wish those who has better alternative with 1080ti can share over here.
oh so it's pretty big yes it's big more than it's rich

There are motherboards that can take 20+ GPUs if you're planning on it, but like you said, you would need some serious infrastructure to handle 24 1060's, the energy problem alone would need some electrician assistance and the heat, etc.. I'd rather stick with the 1080 ti's (and I have)..

Like people have already said, you can daisy chain that same PSU that you are using currently if that is your only concern. There is also one more thing in calculation and that is SPACE where you are mining. How much space someone have is a major deal in what cards to use. If you have only 2-3 m2 available how much will you be able to get from it if you fill it with cards from top to bottom.

All that you said last time - is not a trouble. You buying these parts just one time and GPUs works untill they`d be broken. After you return your money, 1060 becomes more profitable then 1080ti for the same cost. Yet, one more + - if you card/rig brokes - in 1080ti it becomes much more expensive trouble, then 1060.

I've heard that Renesis was very profitable for nvidia, but did not try it Diff is very high now, probably not worth it anymore.
You need the optimized miner to get the best profit.. sp-mod #1 preresults. (0.05BTC +2% fee, pm for details) The offical miner from a1 (based on the legacy code from alexis 1.0) does 24.55MHASH on the 1080ti with 100% tdp, and the sp-mod does more than 30 with the same settings and power usage. gtx:1080ti +22.5% (24.55 --> 30.07) gtx:1070ti +23.2% (16.95--> 20.88)

Hashrate higher, buy/sell in discord. I won`t buy sp-mods any time, but looks like right now he is right. And later will be another coins with this algo, with a such profit as you mind.

Renesis is looking promising.. - No ICO, fair launch 100blocks premine (to pay the devs and exchanges.) - No nicehash/Autoexchange - No AMD miner yet. - High blockreward in the first blocks - Asic resistant algo - Possible high returns when it hit the exchanges.. (Already good profit by selling on discord) (We might see $10 a card per day soon..) sp-mod #1 was released yesterday. and here are some results. gpu0: 1080ti 80% tdp +100 core gpu1: 1070ti 80% tdp stock gpu2: 1070ti 80% tdp +150 core gpu3: 1070 80% tdp stock gpu4: 10603gb 80% tdp +100 core 1060/P106 mining card. 80% tdp 13MHASH

Soon there will be some nub that paid .05btc posting...
Noob's mine ethereum and z-cash with the free 1% plug and play miners and get 1$ per card per day. The smart miners buy my mod and ROI in 2-3 days with $5-10 per card per day.

Specifically for the Renesis algo, have you released a public miner with fee or you only sell a private miner? I sow the screenshot but I haven't found yet any public miner from you.

Yeah I found your post about 0.05BTC + 2% fee from your post history. Well... I wouldn't know if a private miner with a forward payment and 2% fee is better than a public miner with 2.5% fee or something. I would think that either way you make the same profit, but if you only sell private miners then the big farms will profit more than casual miners. I believe this is bad for decentralization and for mass adoption of cryptocoins. Anyway I'm mining with a 1080ti and a 1070ti, getting 27.75MH/s and 19.13MH/s with both cards at 80% TDP. I'd probably get a 20% increase with your miner but with just 2 cards I'll never ROI ^^
