For me, it is still Electrum wallet hands down. Its lightweight and easy to used and most of all you can used it to dynamics fee features. Lately we have been seeing a spike in transaction fees. Electrum offers the user to set what fees to be used in order for your transaction to be picked up in the next block by dynamically adjusting your fees.

I would recommend that you get Bitcoin Core immediately. Do not store bitcoins online, specially now that UASF is coming. Remember that if your wallet is not supporting UASF, you will not recieve the split amount on both chains, only on the chain that the wallet is supporting.

For a Filipino like me, coins.ph is the only wallet that suits for any bitcoin users in Philippines, it converts bitcoin into fiat then can withdraw it at atm even without a card, and most of all supported by many products and companies.

I recommend bitcoin-core itself is good. You have complete control for your bitcoins. For web related, you can check coinbase.

That is a good choice to use in a daily basis for payments and otber stuff like recharging your phone. But you shouldn't store all your Bitcoins in a online wallet because there is always the risk of losing all your coins in case of a security breach. I suggest you to leave low amounts of BTC to spend when you need, and store the majority of your coins in a wallet like Electrum or Mycelium just for safety.

Point taken, having a different addresses will make my coins more secure, one of the moderator of this forum already told me that there is a possibility of web wallets closing down for a certain reasons, every web wallets are dangerous tho.

Mycelium is my main spending one. If a chain split is on the horizon I'll go for raw paper. Some of these wallet companies might be bribed or wig out under the pressure.

What's wrong with Blockchain? I'm a newbie, but I have a Blockchain wallet. Should I move my Bitcoin?

It's only as secure as the machine you're accessing it with. Are you 100% confident that no one is keylogging or screengrabbing you? I don't think anyone can do that so it's better to move. They've had quite a few glitches too and their fee system seems to be struggling to stay relevant too.

Can someone also bypass the authenticator as well?

In theory they could if they wanted. If it's by phone they could social engineer a new sim being sent to them instead. Email's a doss whatever they want to do. Better to be on the safe side.

Bold choice here...
FreeBitco.in
Why? Because we're the only bitcoin wallet paying interest, reliably every single day...4.08% annual percentage yield.
Why don't these other online wallets pay you for the risk you take in not owning the private keys? And the best part about interest is that while the rate stays the same the fiat value increases as the price of Bitcoin increases...which in fiat terms means you're earning even more!

The best in my opinion is the Ledger Nano S. Not only for Bitcoin but other Altcoins.

The famous bitcoin faucet now can be a bitcoin wallet? Isn't it will give us more risk since your identity are anonymous? Online wallets, same with yours, don't giving us an access to our private keys but isn't is more safe,at least, if the online wallet we will used is regulated and a registered company which freebitco.in isn't? Am I missing something here? Or you are already a registered company?

They have a reputation for lots of problems (such as improperly calculated transaction fees) and buggy software. I'm a newbie, but I have a Blockchain wallet. Should I move my Bitcoin?

I have not had much practice in using Bitcoin wallets yet, but I want to say that so far there is a very good wallet, an alternative to everyone else, this is a multi coinomi wallet.

I had a lot of problems with core updating. It's extremely slow now and takes many hours to download the whole chain and has a tendency to crash while downloading, forget everything it has got to that point, and start again. I had to do it 3 times once, because i lost power for a second, my PC had to reset and of course I had to start again. I was like 10 hours into it when that happened. I recommend a light wallet like Electrum.

I guess it depends on where you are from. Like what above stated, in the Philippines they have coins.ph, they have their own site where they can have coin safely. I usually use online or web wallet, coinbaseto be exact, because I can really use it anywhere and everywhere. But it is all up to your convenience, since online can access easily unlike others, but there is a chance of system failure but do not worry that much.
