It appears to be not needed indeed. But distributed is not equal to descentralized, would not be possible to independently tokenize your info without blockchain, in other words, it would not be possible for the identity owner to have power over it without a fourth party, in that case the designers of the system.

They have ERC20 tokens. Im also interesting: how tokens using here? People pay some fee in tokens or no? And what different beatween Thekey? |

yes that's very good news, I am very enthusiastic about this news especially I believe with Vinny lingham that make me believe with this project they give progress in the future so we will see this project grow naturally and demand will make the price go up Yes, Civic is making a lot of partnerships with the other companies because other companies are getting more about the Civic company. Recently we have seen many companies made a partnership with the civic company because low cost and verification services are very important to other companies. |

That was some stupid pump and dump yesterday, who ever here was responsible, hang your head is shame....
$CVC does have a very bright future ahead and it is in my Top 5. Safest Bet Bags. Price now is easy gains this time next year x5 - x10. Vinny is the man, with a master plan, putting all his time and energy in Civic to make it a world leader in Identity management and i am sure, they have many more great ideas lined up, if you only have one bag in rypto, Bag Civic!

Anyone else here took the chance to dump their heavy bags? I've been in Civic since ICO and apart for a big pump in December it hasn't been all to good for me  Could dump yesterday due to Ledger though.. |

Very strong manipulation. They pumped up to 4000 sat in 30 minutes and immediately sent to 2200. It's just incredible. Who after this will believe in the potential of the coin?
Does anyone know what caused this pamp and dump?
If there was strong support in this coin, they would not drive it so hard.

This is not honest according to their investors. They had ICO and raised money. And investors must have liquidity of tokens, but if they going to real business there are no more using of tokens ?  |

only applying the KYC attestations when you actually go against something being attested by someone that is not Civic. The bank can actually make money by providing attestations on their customers to other parties that would like to confirm unique person or theoretically assets. A bank may pay an attestor for validation of a birth certificate, to validate natural individuals, or an employer, to validate income.
