Dev of Openanx any new exchanges coming up? I think there are more good exchanges in china who loves openanx project!
Hello mickp! Thank you for the interest to the OAX Project! The Foundation can't speculate on question of the exchanges, but definitely the work is beeing made in all directions. There were a lot of good in China during its great and very long history. Is and will be. Hi bitvoyager, if you are a member of a team, can you clarify, if the work is beein made in all directions, when approximately can we see some result of that work? App Demo, video, something to have proof that the project worth money invested into it. Situation in Chinese for now is unacceptable, i hope government will change their decision regarding cryptocurrencies. agree, there is no news since a moment, we are waiting some show to invest more in OAX This is a long term project. Do not expect that there will always good news in 2 or 3 days-period. read their road map and their team. If you think that the project is good, invest your money in. Right now, I am still holding more than 2000 OAX. I will wait for the next press.

Can you guys from OpenANX please explain to me what I can do with my tokens. I have a few thousand of these things. What can I actually do with them now (besides gamble them on probably illegal exchanges like Liqui and Binance)?
It says that I can use them to vote on stuff but I don't know where the Governance portal is or how to do it.
"OAX is a token that can be exchanged for memberships in the DAO and/or its association. Members will be entitled to certain privileges, including but not limited to voting privileges on major operational decisions relating to the openANX platform."
Surely there are a ton of "operational decisions" that need to be made between now and June 2018 that the token holders could have some influence on.
Yes, this is the most important question. What does the OAX Token do? What does an OAX Token holder own? If the exchange succeeds, how does an OAX token holder benefit more than someone who simply is a customer of the OAX exchange?

I always use this website to check the market information about OAX, but the price is still below the ICO price for a long time, I plan to see it a half year later.

Bitvoyager, when will the Governance portal or something similar that enables token holders to have some say be launched?
This should surely be part of your "community engagement" plan. It allows us to get involved. For example, recently I was able vote using my (Mothership) MSP tokens on what to do with the left over tokens (burn or bounties). It wasn't much but it was at least something and it got people taking. Otherwise what are we supposed to do with these OAX tokens for 9 or so months besides gamble them on Liquidity or Binance?
I understand vaguely that the token system may be targeted at bigger players like market makers (who may hold many thousands/even millions of tokens which rewards them with a higher tier of membership). But what about the rest of us peons? When will you guys clarify how many tokens are needed for each tier?
Please don't give me another canned response referring me to the WP.

daburone, you are thinking in the absolutely right direction. Thanks for your comments, you emphasize the most important things and ask burning questions. "When will you guys clarify how many tokens are needed for each tier?" - will be clarified closer to the prototype release.

Why is there such a big difference in the price between Binance and Lique? Does anybody know? Also which exchange do you guys trust more if you want to buy some oax tokens?

Both exchanges have very little liquidity/market depth, so a tiny order can create a big price difference but it's usually fleeting. Liqui is an Eastern European exchange with no verification requirement. Binance is a Hong Kong exchange which does require verification but they were, until recently, marketing themselves as China-based token ICO specialists. They have backtracked from this but may still face some kind of sanctions (noone really knows). Basically, pick your poison. Just don't leave your funds on these exchanges for any length of time.

Could someone please quickly summarize what this project is about? Like are you going to build a decentralized exchange or are you building an application for decentralized exchanges? If yes, what is that?

"When will you guys clarify how many tokens are needed for each tier?" - will be clarified closer to the prototype release. Thanks though I would hardly call these "burning" questions, they are just regular discussion points. After all, the whole premise of the OpenANX project is that people are tired of being kicked in the teeth by exchanges (I have personally been Goxxed, Cryptsied, and Finexxed), so I think open and candid discussion should be encouraged here. BTW, a similar example to the MSP voting was DigixDAO back in March '17 and what to do with the ETC tokens (see: https://medium.com/@Digix/digixdao-etc-withdrawal-proposal-v1-0-mar-22-2017-578fe1575a40). Again this was done well before any sort of product launch. I (and I think many others in this thread) look forward to some further clarification in the near future as to what exactly OAX tokens can be used for and how they derive value/ROI for investors of varying tiers.

Hello mv1986 The official description is the REAL WORLD APPLICATION OF DECENTRALIZED EXCHANGES I'd say widely this will be a huge platform for integration of all possible market participants (DEX, centralized exchanges, banks etc) About Members possibilities on the OAX platform - you may take a look at Project Deck, page 19, The User Journey: https://www.openanx.org/en/assets/documents/openANX_Project%20Deck_ENU.pdfAlso here is an interesting article on Medium: https://www.reddit.com/r/OpenANX/comments/6fzxu9/how_is_openanx_different/

Guy, what is going on, why price is so dumped? It`s all about because OAX is completely chinese token and aimed at Asian market? When substantial price strengthening could it be expected?

Hi nickbelski, OAX Foundation is legally based in HK not mainland China. In fact OAX will be a Global platform. Here is the project statement regarding current situation: https://medium.com/@OAX_Foundation/oax-project-statement-evolving-regulation-9ceb0a49c5d

Thank you hdtqisg! OAX Token. "Additionally, the foundation has acquired the OAX.org domain, and a rebranding exercise will be undertaken to remove “ANX” from the foundation and project branding, this is seen as necessary to present an open, neutral community project. This will aid the engagement of other industry firms." https://medium.com/@OAX_Foundation/oax-q4-roadmap-update-community-and-engagement-stream-9b699f668322
