Yes same here! The difficulty sky rocketed with a massive increase in hashrate from one of the external pools. I think the nethash peaked at just over 3 GH/s - crazy!

Our official pool is now spitting blocks again this morning though so hopefully you should have had some already.

The only warnings you should be seeing are from the in built PyMiner, which is common with all wallets that include mining ability.

There has NOT been a new version of the wallet, nor have there been any updates since the initial (and ONLY so far) release.
