I hadn't been at slack channel what happened here? Can you clarify some things how many blocks will be at the start of this fork -175000?. When will wallet be ready for download?
How many premine coins will be in circulation? Considering previous happening you should be more open this time and my advice is to open entirely new thread with all explanations., and specification for this coin. New announcement thread will bring trust back.

The blocks are the same, no change at the fork block (currently planned to be 175,000). The only difference is that the collateral needed for a masternode will be 5,000 CRDS after the fork block.

No change to the premine, it remains at 475,000 CRDS. The circulation of those premine coins also remains unchanged at this stage. Quite a few of us purchased some premine CRDS from the original dev.

I'm happy to take a vote on a new thread, but I think staying with the original thread builds more trust as we're not trying to hide anything.

Heheheh

Let's hope this doesn't happen ever again!

Edit: All major decisions from now on will happen through voting in the slack channel. The masternode decision for 5,000 CRDS was also voted on.

Fork means there will be a fix-or new wallet? Who decided 5000 of coins should be requirements for master node and why? Why didn't you fork earlier? I have thought new thread for a new start. It would be nice to see list of members involved now and their qualifications if possible. Are they capable for this task?  Also pick someone who will be in charge here, who will inform members here.
Did anyone taught to report previous developer, he is scammer right? He will strike again somewhere? It would be honorable to inform moderator.

Hi,

as the new Marketing Manager of Credits I'm going to answer your questions.

Fork means there will be a fix-or new wallet?
The hard fork means that there will be a new wallet which will also fix several bugs.

Who decided 5000 of coins should be requirements for master node and why?
The community in the Slack decided on the 5000 Credits requirement for a Masternode (https://i.imgur.com/U2wtlMi.png).
For the reason I'm going to quote @mrankin: "I have been thinking about the 500CRDS requirement for a masternode. Given the PoW block reward is 10 CRDS, only 50 blocks solved gets you a MN. IMO this is way too low. It's 20x lower than Dynamic (DYN) and other coins that have a 1 coin reward and require 1000 coins for a MN.
The overall effect of making it easy to get yourself a MN puts downward pressure on the value of Credits. This will become apparent as soon as it's on an exchange."

Why didn't you fork earlier?
We weren't able to fork earlier because we wanted to fix the issues with the current version first and thus had to look for a developer who could help us first, this took some time.

I have thought new thread for a new start.
We're currently deciding on whether or not we start a new thread. But one thing is for sure: We don't want to hide the history of the coin.

It would be nice to see list of members involved now and their qualifications if possible.
The current team consists of these people at the moment: https://i.imgur.com/O6z6I1G.png.
As soon as possible we will also list the team on our website.

Also pick someone who will be in charge here, who will inform members here.
This is going to be me from now on.  Smiley

Did anyone taught to report previous developer, he is scammer right? He will strike again somewhere? It would be honorable to inform moderator.

We opened a thread about him immediately after he left the project.

Please tell me more about plans if you working on road map, what we can expect further from this team? What happened with bounties are they are going to be paid from premine? How community can help?
What is requirement for becoming a member of a team? Are you are volunteers?
I have few advice's:
1. All this that you said to me should be in first page-visible so all members can see that this is not new project.
2. You should announce date when will this new wallet be ready and where we can get it.
3. Do you have ideas how to establish this project for a longer time? Premine won''t help much. You can maybe set up master nodes with part of those coins, this could bring you trust of new members.

Hi,

Please tell me more about plans if you working on road map
Currently we're working on getting the Blockchain stable, then we're going to work on a roadmap.

What happened with bounties are they are going to be paid from premine?
The bounties are going to be paid from the premine.

How community can help?
The community can join our Slack and look at the #tasks channel. Other than that they can mine the coin.  Smiley

What is requirement for becoming a member of a team?
The requirement for becoming a member is joining the Slack and becoming involved with the project.

Are you are volunteers?
Yes, we are all volunteers. Nobody's getting paid.

Thank you for your advice, we will look into implementing it.

BTW: We will announce the date when the wallet is ready here and on Twitter.

If anyone could kindly sell me 5,000 CRDS to test the new masternode update on CentOS that would be very helpful. I've got one set up on Ubuntu but do not want to destroy it to test a different distro. A heterogeneous network needs to be tested with the new client. Please send me a PM if interested.

Hi,

our new version of our wallet is now ready and can be downloaded on https://crds.co/.
The hard fork will occur (seamlessly) at block 250,000. Please make sure that you have updated your wallet until then. A guide on how to upgrade your wallet can be found here: https://crds.co/documents/wallet-upgrade.pdf.

We've re-compiled the Windows wallet with AVX2 support. Please re-install it from https://github.com/CRDS/Credits/releases and hopefully it will resolve the issue.

Is Credits listed on any exchanges? I mined the coin when it first released and need another 2500 to fill out my masternode.
