You can check if it's mining by opening the console and typing getmininginfo
It will return the mining info and under generate it should say true and your hashespersec is at the bottom

i wish i had money to buy an 8-socket CPU server. LOL.

those x3950 x6 series servers look awesome...
with 8x intel xeon E7-8000 v2 CPU´s! "up to 60-cores/120-threads."
http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Xeon/Intel-Xeon%20E7-8895%20v2.html

E7- v1 also looks nice, x3950 x5 boards.
http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Xeon/Intel-Xeon%20E7-4870%20AT80615007263AA%20(BX80615E74870).html
E7-4000 is for 4-socket,
but i´ve seen E7-8k cpu´s in E7-4k motherboards.

x7560 it´s even older.
http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Xeon/Intel-Xeon%20MP%20X7560%20-%20AT80604004869AA%20(BX80604X7560).html

but the curiosity... its always there. LOL. Jajajajaja

8-socket cpu with HT is a pipe dream,
a step down would be the 4-socket CPU like:
HP ProLiant DL580 Generation 7 "G7",
has both versions:
for E7 v1 "up to 40-cores/80-threads",
and for x7560 "up to 32core/64-threads"
https://h20195.www2.hpe.com/v2/getpdf.aspx/c04123267.pdf?ver=19

the x7500 series CPU are a bit too old... but have HyperThreading, the x7400 do not.

research so far...
i´m looking a more compatible board with EPS 12v powersupply, those servers everything is custom, ram, board, psu, etc....

another problem with 4-socket & 8-socket boards is that require Windows Server,
and WinSrv 2016 Standard is sold by cores... 16-minimum, $800usd. for OEM/OEI, and $1100usd. for Boxed. "Boxed version allows to change the board, license is not hardware locked."
Windows Server Essentials 2016 i think is limited to 1-socket, cant rememeber.
and Datacenter is more $$.
every 4 additional cores/threads, license pack for Standard or Datacenter is +$210usd.
Essentials i think it cannot be upgraded, a clean install must be made.
also console version cannot be upgraded to Desktop experience, clean install also must be made.

How to miniing this coin
1) Download wallet
2) Tools -> Debug Console
3) Type setgenerate true X, where X = number of mining threads (you can choose setgenerate true -1 to full CPU load)
4) Type getmininginfo (hashespersec = your hashrate)

any guide for mining?
any mining calculator ?
Blocks per 24h = hashespersec / networkhashps * 675

No, but there is a discord channel for the CRDS community: https://discord.gg/Hq7dKhh

Slack is dead in my opinion. They had/have massive problems with hacked accounts, hacked slackbots and a flood of phishing spam.
