Holding altcoins longer is very risky as price can crash at any point of time so when you are in good position of making profits you should sell your coins without waiting longer as if you don't sell it at a right time then you are missing an opportunity of making profits and may be you will never see that price again. I sell only when I am making some really good profits from it or else I hold it for a long term as of today I sold some of my coins

according to my own personal experience i start buying whenever the price of bitcoin going down and whenever the price of bitcoin is going increasing then i start selling my coin which will give me enough profit.

I always set an amount when to sell. Sometimes i get terrified everytime the market goes red but i have to descipline muself and trust the amount i am aiming whether it will take long or short period of time.

I personnaly use a bunch of custom indicators on tradingview (EMA, RSI, ADX, MACD,...) that i integrated in my own scripts coupled with FIB and Pattern analysis. The correlation off all those signals give me confidence in selling/buying.
I always sell in two/three times
My trading view charts are quite crowdy with indicators but I love it ;p

I have target price and when the price of the coin reached my target, that is the time where I can sell my coins. I also waiting to the right time to sell all of my coins for me to make more money.

For me i Have a Target price to sell my alts as well as a i gain profit but it depend on the coin if there have a great project that can be use in future and it worth it to hold, and my golden rule is never sell when my alts below my buy price.

I sell at regular intervals whenever I get btc and keep in mind x% of profit. Whenever it reaches that I sell of majority of it and keep small as a future investment. Rest all are sold immediately considering the btc price volatility and its future in respective country.

We all need to based our transaction on our bitcoin within our needs in a daily basis or the specific economy of the country where we lived in. It is not bad to sell our bitcoin specially when we need to have money yet we also need to consider the possible future we could have if we would wait and hold until the price goes up and we earn base on our holdings and investments.

But i never wants  to sell it in loss i am still waiting to make their price high and after that i will sale these coins,

At first we see market values of altcoin then we note down of how many price we buy and when it is pump we just sell,  not follow any % with coin.

Selling is always on the high price rates. And we all know that the market today is really dropping. So then i believe that it is really now the time of holding bitcoin is really more profitable if we have patience specially on this dumping of the price in the market place we must have patience for us to gain more profit when the right time comes.

I think you should sell bitcoin right now, you can see that bitcoin prices are rising very strongly today and are showing signs of a rebound. As far as my technical analysis, bitcoin prices are at $ 7400 a very dangerous milestone, prices may continue to rise or fall here because of strong resistance. So to be safe you should sell bitcoin at the time and wait for the price to break $ 74xx mark then continue to invest.

'm a short term trader and i would really plan to sell of on a particular price point if i do see that i'm already on profits and buy again if the price would dip again. It would depend if you are holding for long position or either on short. We should sell on those price when we do see that we do earn profits and never ever sell on lose because price will eventually rise up again for sure.

I hate waiting for the coins to get back in the target that was before after the dump, so I prefer to deal fast and see faster results even though the percentage is less than <1.

And we know that when we invest in long term anything below 10% can not be considered to make any sell order because we hope for more as 10% is not enough if we hold a coin for a year or more.

I sell my cryptocurrency when it seems to me that the growth has already ended and it will not become more expensive. Often I am wrong.

I keep some target percentage of coin raise in my mind. I observe the coin price after getting into an exchange, if the price continuously falls down, I will decide to hold few days to check whether there is an improvement on the coin price and then sell the coins even if it doesn’t reach the target profit I set forth. But if I understand the project strength and if it is good and has a future in the market, I keep the coin HODL for few months and sell it periodically to get more profit.
