AS VGS starts to become popular and more people come in and want to own a node, I think we need a better guide to help them with setting up their VPS and masternodes like most masternode projects have. Most now go with a script set up which makes setting up nodes much easier then before and also maybe we can try and get VGS listed on a few masternode platforms like Gin or Gentarium, I believe Gentarium requires a full node as their fee so it might be worth trying.

One question about staking and masternode from the same wallet.
If I have for example 1500VGS in my wallet and I lock 1000VGS for masternode, whether I will receive staking rewards for other unlocked 500 VGS in the wallet?
Yes. MN and POS work nicely in one wallet. great. Now I find video tutorial how to setup VGS masternode on VPS server it is a great thing but do not you think it's a bit confusing? Everything going very fast and it's fairly unclear what commands needs to be written into the console. Can you post here textual command for that? would be more than useful. please post the link, and I will convert it into text. Vegas I mean on this: http://www.bitcoinlasvegas.net/files/setup-vps-for-multiple-masternodes-for-las-vegas-coin.mp4it is hard to see off plus very finely text and is not readable. Maybe I am too old and my eyes are not that good  |

If i understand you correctly, you thinking that is vegasguy take money which you invest in mn and spent with his girl? How far i go, VGS masternode it was never worth $8000. Are you sure that you invest in vgs mn? |

Of course, you can surely do it. Investors can simultaneously staking their coins and running their masternodes on the same wallet. There are no potential conflicts between staking and masternoding. I only have problem with locking my wallet. When i run only staking and unlock wallet everything is fine but when start mn after few minutes they locked automatically and stop staking and mn also |

Hi Everyone. I have not abandoned the project. I had to take time away to get a house ready for sale. That is now ready, and Ihave returned to continue to move this project. Ive already spoken with Midnight miner that did our last update, and we are discussing plans for our next release.

That's good to know vegasguy! I hope the house sells quick before things start to crash as its not looking good right now with the stock market taking a big hit today. I'm banking that a lot of money will start to flow into crypto so hopefully VGS does well when this happens. I'm looking forward to the new release and will there be a website as well coming? |

I have 21 connections. Try to set the DMZ in the router, to your IP address. Many wallets this setting helps. My wallets run behind more than one NAT firewall. I would not recommend the above suggestion, especially if you are running on Windoze or stock Ubuntu. DMZ setting in the router are for the network savvy. |
