I prefer to have a few VPS set up to run multiple masternodes as its easier and it doesn't cost all that much as just a week earning MN rewards from just one coin will cover the costs for the whole month for all the VPS set up. Of course it depends on the MN coins and price however it is more then likely that the costs will be covered in the first week.

VPS will help to save power cost and is one of the best options for someone who would like to operate multi masternodes simultaneously.

Yes I agree, VGS needs a good mix of stakers and masternodes. In recent weeks we have seen masternodes increase and also the staking difficulty but to attract more people staking maybe the reward for people staking can increase a little then over time it can decrease for both PoS and masternodes like most coins do.

Yes I agree, VGS needs a good mix of stakers and masternodes. This was my thought. If your familiar with superblocks from flycoin, we could implement this for everyone. However, the masternodes would get 4x the rewards. Should I create a poll for this? The supply is still VERY low, so we have lots of room to stretch the coin supply without inflation issues.

So being Las Vegas coin, we need a Jackpot system. We have a mere 400,000 total coins and about 25% of them are locked with MN. There is a proven safe system called "superblocks" from a coin called "fly coin" , I released in 2015. No one was able to cheat the system for over 2 years. Anyway, here is a proposed schedule of what we will call "jackblocks".


Multiplier of 2x = 5% Chance.
  
Multiplier of 3x = 2.5% Chance.
  
Multiplier of 5x = 1% Chance.
 
Multiplier of 10x = 0.5% Chance.
 
Multiplier of 20x = .25% Chance.
  
Multiplier of 50x = .01%Chance.

Multiplier of 100x = 0.001% Chance.

The way this would work is the block reward would be the multiplier. So, the current block reward is 2.5 VGS. As it stands .5 VGS goes to the staker, and 2 VGS to the masternode.

So masternode holders would get 2 VGS X the multiplier, and stakers would get .5 VGS X the multiplier.

These are just rough numbers. I will post a poll.

So again please keep in mind these are just ideas.

Hmm, this seems to be a good idea and will most likely attract more people to joining VGS. I think a poll is a good idea to see what the community thinks of the proposed idea. Also we need a poll on the maximum amount of VGS there will be as I still get questions about this and I can't answer them as there hasn't been an official statement about this.

Hi guys, sorry to trouble you but I have been going through the Casinonode setup on page 53 for the past few hours have forwarded the ports, redone everything a few times but still get this error message so clearly something is wrong.

I went to console and typed

I checked the block explorer just in case but everything is correct from what I see. I see 1000 went into my masternode1 wallet and in my masternode config file I have mytxid 0.

I'm running the CN on my P.C. not using a VPS cause I think that would just cause me more headaches.

Ok, it seems I received a stake before I could set up the MN so that may have cause a problem. Re-sending 1000 coins to the MN now changing the TXID, waiting 10 confirmations and will try again to see if that was what caused the problem.

Nope, still not working. Still giving me could not allocate txid. I know it's correct, it goes to my mn address, I have txid 0 in .conf file. I've tried to re-do things going on 24 hours and still have no idea what is wrong.

ok changed one thing, why would it now work if I used txid 1 instead of txid 0? It worked, for now. Going to check it after about 2 hours or so.
