My web wallet is charging me about 1.8$ per transaction but it confirms within an hour though, some times less than an hour and this is huge if you're sending smaller payments so I will advice people to use Bitcoin torvhigher transactionscat least until a solution is applied to the current issues.

True, web wallets always default to the cost of transactions, but thanks to that, transactions are processed faster, it's very convenient

I still like using Online Wallet, trusted services like Coinbase & XAPO, their services are good, have high quality security, easy too use, nice U.I, and Almost transaction I don't need to care about fees Cheesy

I hope you do know that this exchangers don't give you the private keys to your wallet right? So it means you don't have control of you btc. Another issue is that if those exchangers are hacked, what will happen to your bitcoin then? It will be gone. That's why most of us here uses wallet that we can have the private keys so at least we have the control like adjusting transaction fees when we want to send it to someone.

Yes I`m using a wallet with low fee, it was like that until recently, xapo now have fee and for me this fee is too high. Couple days ago I wanted to send 7 mBTC and low fee for slow transaction was 1.5 mBTC, high and fast one was above 2.3 mBTC, that is funny and to high for me.
In the end I didn`t send that bitcoins, I`m looking for another wallet with lower or at least with adjustable fee`s, I don`t mind waiting, it`s better then to overpay transaction.

Why are the fees so high now, where there are only 50k unconfirmed transactions? The situation is not like before when we saw more than 200k transactions unconfirmed!

I just checked making a transaction in coinbase and they charge 0.0013 which is really a lot and i assume that is around 500+ satoshis per byte.

Yes, I mostly go with the average fees but still since last few weeks I am experiencing lesser confirmation time (I am not sure how much of the portion from exchange fees is allocated for the transaction fees). I use Blockchain web wallet and they usually put dynamic fees along with the transaction according the the current network load. Thus, I never faced any unconfirmed transaction issue.
It's really up to you if you really need it or it can wait. I use lowest possible fee in transferring amount that I will not use as soon as possible while if the amount that I send is have something to be used which is important and requires immediate use as soon as possible then I will place high fee and will not do microtransactions as I can since it will really eat up your money.

Yes, it is not worth it for micro transactions but I do less transactions with high amount so I don't hesitate to pay the fees which are required by the network. This thing should be resolved if we want bitcoin as a payment option in local shops / offline markets etc. Even though the fees are not much for normal transaction, one can not afford to pay these fees for micro transaction and even for the normal transactions if the situation continues.

Yes, I am using low fees most of the time because i am not in a hurry receiving my withdrawals, But if i am sending someone and if its important i used the highest amount so that the other party can get the Bitcoin faster, i do this when i am manually trading Bitcoins to my contacts.

i am not dare to pay a low fee for any transaction nowadays, the situation on the Core is explicit that too many unconfirmed transactions lagged the blockchain. i have one of my signature withdrawal with ~100 satoshi per byte required more than half of a day to confirm.

out of ability to use the signature, i want a new ban strike policy that will fade the strike after 90~120 days of the ban and not to be traced back, like google | email me for anything urgent, message will possibly not be instantly responded
i am not really active for some reason

in fact the conformation speed is different from time to time. some time it take some minutes and remain very fast, while other time the conformation time take a lot of time some time more than hours. i think the issue is increasing from time to time and it must be solve on priority bases because the users of bitcoin are increasing too much, therefore it is too much important that all the complaints against the conformation time must be solve.

Sometimes when I withdraw BTC to my wallet, I set really low fees like 50-70 satoshi per byte and wait for weeks, because I'm not going to spend those coins in the near future anyway. I think it's a good way to save a bit of money, because if you look back, you might realize that your fees have added up to a big amount in USD value, while it wasn't always necessary to get those coins confirmed asap.
So, do you use low fees, or always want to get confirmation in a next few blocks?
I always follow the recommended fees by the wallet that I'm using. I'm not adjusting it or setting it to lower fee as many are having problem when it comes to the confirmation. But if you are lucky when you pay lower fee and your transaction will be confirmed suddenly. If that happens you are one of the very few lucky low fee payee.

I sometimes use quite low fees if it is not an urgent transaction. Otherwise I normally use high transaction fees, even normal fees don't get confirmed that quickly and most of my transactions are urgent otherwise I wouldn't be wasting the money sending it over to someone.

yes like many people say here
a 2$ over 10.000 satoshis fee its quite nice for a week trasaction you lose 8$ a month tops but you get you payouts done
you prob dont need to change that one fees on your wallet.
but if you do lots of transactions and of low satoshis overall each you prob need to change a bit to lower fees in order to remove to less the payout to chain of that money you transact
in order to not lose much like a bank transaction.
if soo you prob see ... what a weck for 3$ 2$ fees a 50$ transaction and takes 30 mins rather use a bank there is no need to put bitcoin to this.
because its being a move to top the 10.000 satoshis fees as regular transactions and its still 2$ (lost)
to pay for 30 mins speed.

the speed of business at the speed of thought and digital nervous system can be diferent for each one of us and no need  to pay too high 2$ now
for a 30 mins and yes pay like 1000 satoshis fee like 20 cents and take like 2 days but ok it will occur
we know the certain of blockchain.

It depends, for small amounts i use altcoins now, but for bitcoin transactions above a certain amount I pay 0.0008BTC
When you send very small amounts, it's just ridiculous to pay 10% fees, it's just insane for me

Your solver has been around for a long time, because I rarely store Bitcoins in my wallet and often pull it in several times and wait for a while to trade successfully. In addition, this way will help you less likely to be caught by the bank

in some cases when we are going for big transaction then high fee is on no problem about, but some time we go for little transaction and in such cases it become difficult and costly to use high or standard transaction feel. in some cases even some exchanges have standard exchange rate and you have to pay that in any case either you are going for low transaction or for high transaction, but you have to pay the fixed fee for your transaction automatically.

Yes, but I am not sure why this is happening because when I see my transaction is confirmed faster I immediately check the current number of unconfirmed transactions and in most of the cases I notice that the number is above 10K transactions. I am sure exchanges put the same fees but yet I never faced any long time (24 Hours+) unconfirmed transaction issue so far. I know web wallets put dynamic fees according to the network but I don't think that exchanges are doing so but still my transactions are taking place faster than before.

Switched to other coins can only be done if it is in the exchanger, we may not just keep bitcoin on the exchanger site. I also switched to other coins if my bitcoin was on the exchange site and wanted to be transferred to another exchanger, but I prefer dogecoin instead of $ DGB $ XRP or $ WAVES

The number of unconfirmed transactions is irrelevant..
The only important things is the size and the fee they are paying.

You can have 200 000 tx with 1/2 inputs and you can have 50k with 40 inputs.. that would actually mean a 5 times longer queue.

I saw yesterday a block that was filled up with just 200 transactions

And what really pissed me off was this:

I'm using mycelium wallet and always using normal fee when doing transaction before but now that the price became so high. I often used low-prio that only cost like $2. Normal fee is too much for me it cost almost $4 the last time i made a transaction.

I agree, with the rising price of the better we use low cost because if we use the normal cost it will take a lot of time of the transaction fees that can reach $4 whereas if lower costs we can save the cost of approximately $2. When will my transaction then it is better to use a low cost alone. in addition, we must also be able to take into account all income and expense that comes out so that everything is balanced and not too overwhelming.
