Never do I use low fees because all my transactions are really important that I can risk myself on chance to losse mt Bitcoin

Not at all. You're not going to lose your bitcoin just because you picked low transaction fee. Even when it take a day or even a week before your transaction gets confirmed, it doesn't matter. The coin will always be there. The coin has nowhere else to go. My trick is to use Electrum wallet so I can rebroadcast the coin and add more fees to it (in both receiving and sending bitcoins) if the transaction is needed to get confirmed faster.

I personally always use the lowest fees but never the fees that are almost zero. Fees are important since that's how you get your transaction more prioritized than other transactions.

Are you using RBF (Replace By Fee)? If so, other Electrum users should know that this isn't the default option with Electrum wallet. I would love to RBF a transaction I made with below normal fees... But I can't, because I didn't tick the checkmark for RBF before that transaction. Now I'm stuck just waiting it out. I guess there may be a faster method, but it would have helped if I had known about RBF before I tried to get stingy with fees.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

No. I'm using low fees like 0.2 mBTC (absolute minimum) since I don't need short awaiting times. I want to wait long, but cheap, instead of expensive short await times.

Of course there is a neurovit steering wheel urgency of the translation, then most likely it is your choice will be very correct. But if everything needs to be done quickly, then no other commission will not keep it from it.

Sometimes when I withdraw BTC to my wallet, I set really low fees like 50-70 satoshi per byte and wait for weeks, because I'm not going to spend those coins in the near future anyway. I think it's a good way to save a bit of money, because if you look back, you might realize that your fees have added up to a big amount in USD value, while it wasn't always necessary to get those coins confirmed asap.
So, do you use low fees, or always want to get confirmation in a next few blocks?
It's too risky for me. Using a very small fee can make a very long delivery transaction. You can reduce the cost, but you will be difficult if you have to wait a long time. Imagine if you are in need of bitcoin but the transaction is still running, of course it will make you confused when need bitcoin on the spur of the moment.

I have used low fees without many problems, sometimes to my surprise the transaction gets confirmed within a short period, some others I've had to wait days for them to confirm. On a couple of occasions after waiting forever, the tx were discarded by the network and the bitcoin returned to my wallet.
If you use an online wallet like blockchain. I'm sure if you use a low fee (like 10k satoshi) you'll get your first confirmation the next day lol. Because I tried it some time ago and then cured, and I moved out of blockchain

Before, I'm setting my transactions at the lowest priority and fees today are really high. I did experience to wait for almost 20 hours before my transaction gets confirmed because the fee is only 0.0002 BTC. I have seen people paying .001-0.002BTC just for their confirmation gets faster. Hoping this will fixed soon.
People that pay for a huge transaction to get confirmed is the ones that should be paying because they are doing business with large sums of money. I wouldn’t want to make money and wait a bunch of hours when spending $7 for some transaction fee. I am pretty sure that people will have another type of method of spending Bitcoin pretty soon. Since Ethereum is getting more famous, the people that use it will try to use it to spend Bitcoin instead of waiting for their transaction to get confirmed?

If you don't have problem on waiting for several hours then just set your fee to the smallest one. But if you need to cash out your bitcoin then you don't have choice to pay for the higher fee. Well after the PoS turn over ETH, I'm thinking that many will still stick to bitcoin because it will do something great soon.

I used to use Coinbase and Xapo so that I didn't need to worry about fee because those wallets were free to send Bitcoin. But when they needed to take fees from me, I send all my funds to Electrum and I need to pay fees and you know there is no chance to use a low transaction fee anymore (lol)

If you're lucky maybe you'll get a quick transaction and confirmation with a low fee. But if you really want to get a quick transaction. You can use the recommendation fee. Usually a blockchain user will understand this

Yes if a person will pay a lower fees then the confirmation of that transaction will take that much longer time and in that case if a person need their bitcoin faster to transact then he will be tired to wait for that transaction but if a person will not need it faster then he will be ok for that.

Thats actually quite amazing, I thought viabtc had higher minimum requirements. Generally I just pay the correct fee and get it done as fast as possible.

When i was a new to cryptocurrency i always set the fee to normal because usually i really want to received my profit as soon as possible but even tho it's a normal fee the fee transaction is still expensive and we all know that. I think the transaction fees will bring down bitcoins i hope in the next year or months they will solved the problem about transaction fees before some altcoins will pop out and beat the value of bitcoins because of the expensive transaction fee

ViaBTC requires people to include a minimum of 10,000 satoshis per KB before they pick up transactions to accelerate. Easy calculation -- 1 KB = 1000 bytes = 10 satoshi per byte. From there he included the very minimum in fees in order to make use ViaBTC's acceleration service -- that's what I consider to be a real penny pincher.

yeah If you don't need to use your Bitcoin so soon, it's a good way to spend your Bitcoin but when you need your transactions to be confirmed fast, like selling Bitcoin or trading, you need to pay a bigger fee so that your transaction can be confirmed faster

I use low fees if I'm just putting away some bitcoins into cold storage or transferring to other wallets. By low I mean 100-200 Satoshis/byte, never under 100. They usually confirm within 24h so I suppose I could go lower if I wanted to but waiting weeks seems silly.

I think low fees it too good, when we talk about someone who doesn't care about the speed of confirmations of his transactions, Like me. but in my case, I am obligated to use a high fees, because xapo set a regular fees which they controled by xapo not by me. Furthermore, these fees are too high.

In certain urgent circumstances, I prefer high tx fee. For faster transactions to be confirmed. Less than 1 hour usually bitcoin has arrived to my wallet.

Why are doing so much math just to arrive at the wrong conclusion?
He already said he paid "10 satoshi per kbyte". Via btc requires x1k times that.

So I really doubt he has sent that transactions with the viabtc accelerator.

for this I use the low cost 0.1 mbtc because I don't need to wait for a long time just 3 hours after the transaction starts immediately sent in my wallet so that it does not require long and expensive time. I hope there is a cost free when we deal with this unlikely but bitcoin happen ...
