The bitfury chips are at 2GH/s@500mA per chip, so that wouldn't be too bad.  I'm actually following a developer and might be putting together a group buy for those should they come available.

I have been watching the thread where these have been being talked about, IDK when they will become available, but it wasnt sounding like a minimum order was going to be necessary, and that initial supply wasnt going to be very large, so it may make more sense to just put an order in than scramble to get money together, of course if they do require a minimum number of units, then count me in depending on price (which I assume will be attractive, but who knows).  I guess we will have to wait and see.

The developer I was watching had a minimum of 100.  Right now the price is 1btc for October delivery, but it's tentative and final pricing hasn't been announced.

Oh for October, there is another one somewhere who is finishing testing and wants to sell some on hand ones in, what sounds like, a couple of days time.

The only ones I saw for September wanted like 2btc.  1btc per GH/s is steep as hell considering 6 Erupters get you 2GH/s for .6 btc now.  Arguably power is better (2.5W instead of 6*2.5=15W for the Erupters), but that improvement isn't enough to get me to jump in.  We'll see what the landscape looks like getting closer to October.

If I may return to the topic at hand, heh:

The Canadian packages that were held up by customs heading to Canada have been fixed and should resume transit.

Will you be selling again due to the 0.10 price drop?

I got my 11 today.  At least 2 had loose heat sinks that I fixed by tightening up the screws.  Two are malfunctioning, getting hardware errors out the wazoo, I don't know if it's the same 2 or not.  Hard to figure out which 2 it is when I have 35 of them. Sad

<lol>

My sympathies, Arklan.
But now that it's done, also my thanks for what you got done.

Status report:
My half dozen were received on Saturday.

All have been in service since Saturday night, about 48 hours, and are performing within spec.
I.e., getting the expected just less than 1% error rate, same as the original / older two, with no anomalous glitches or other issues to cause concern.

IOWs, there won't be any need / requests for replacement(s) from me.
(IMO, within a couple months or so it won't be worth the hassle and cost of shipping to replace a failed unit. So, close enough, deal done / closed.)

All y'all enjoy your hashing, I'm out of here - no longer watching this thread.

It was a power supply issue.  Ended up with more erupters than planned for.  they are working fine directly on another PC.

Thanks.

Ok all, FC has responded and has let me know that we may purchase eruptors through him at .12 ea or .1 if we get over 2k (highly unlikely).  As such, I am currently taking interest if anyone would like any additional eruptors?  If we get enough support than I will probably go forward and host some sort of GB for these.  Currently just gauging interest.

Things To Note - I would be thinking, something like .14 or .15 per eruptor to cover cost of shipping/handling. (shipping from US, could be more if international)
These potentially could take a bit to arrive, I will get them out immediately when they do, but we all saw how long it could take FC to get them to Arklan.
I reserve the right to not go forward with this GB for any reason and refund in full any Btc paid to me.  Any reason could include, going to take too long, not enough interest, positive ROI gone, etc...

Note 2-This is open to anyone whether they previously participated or not.

Either post here or PM me interest and how many you think you would want at above price.

Thanks,

Debitme

Tracking says that it was delivered this morning, will check and update when I get home.

EDIT - all 5 received and working (on Bitminter client, could not for the life of me get them to work with Cgminer).  Only problem now is that they were all the same color and I want more that are different colors and they are really really cool.  What a dilemma.
