Yes, that is true. I did not expected so many pre-orders with small quantities. This even overloaded  the Google Spreadsheet!

Dear Buyer,

The third batch has already been ordered, received and dispatched to all remaining buyers waiting for their parcel:

Warranty

I will remain responsible for the warranty of the product up to 30th December 2013. I have 10 Block Erupter USBs available for replacement. However I will only replace 2 or less Block Erupter USBs per buyer. The request for the replacement of 3 or more Block Erupter USBs must be made directly to Bitfountain.

Delivery Confirmation

The tracking system from Parcelforce indicates that a few parcels were not delivered. If you received your parcel but your pre-order still shows “post”, reply to  this newsletter indicating on which date the parcel was delivered.

Affected Buyers

All remaining units of the buyers which were affected by the lack of available Block Erupter USBs were already dispatch. This includes buyers which should be part of the first and second batch. So if you were affected and did not receive a second parcel up to now, please respond  to this newsletter so I can help you determine why your parcel was not delivered.

Tip the Trader

As I had promised I will refund the overpaid amount by the buyers after all Block Erupter USBs ordered have been delivered. However you can refuse the refund  and instead tip me for the work I’ve done to satisfy the group needs as a whole. I gave my best to ensure all buyers would have a real product as soon I could deliver. There were also buyers which were only able to participate in the group because I offered alternative methods of payment.

I want  to express my gratitude to all buyers which deposited their trust in my business. I am quite glad with the lessons I learned from this trade. I must also thank Friedcat for the prompt response to deliver what he promised. Bitfountain is the only honest business at the present moment which is truly committed to delivering what it advertises.

That was a stab in the back of the first buyers.

I am quite disappointed with Bitfountain decision to reduce the price.

Basically this move is going to reduce the estimated value of the product of all the buyers which participated in my group buy.

I must confess I am really pissed off!

Maybe we can order more to help Augusto to pass the 1000 items sold to get the discounted price of 0.89 and also get back the extra money payed for all items that he ordered (I assume that include the old one sold at 1.99).
