They are delusional. Marketcap, volume, potential is there. Just look at facts and you will know this is not a competition that has a base.
Being an Ethereum investor and supporter is one thing, being an Ethereum fanboy is another. Don't mix these two because they have very big difference.

Ethereum in the next five years time will be holding a 5 digit value which is true. As the platform is a confirmed winner of blockchain technology, it's usage keeps on increasing regularly. This will not let the ethereum fall low for any reason.

I'm kinda getting sick and tired of people comparing eth and bitcoin when they really have not that much in common and can perfectly exist next to each other. You know eth's got 5 times as much coins as bitcoin, right? So it needs about 20% of bitcoins price to 'beat' bitcoin in terms of marketcap, which says absolutely zero about the intrinsic value of a coin (look at ripple). Also, bitcoin is a currency and a way to store value (like gold), whereas eth is a platform designed for smart contracts and business building.
