Speculation is good, it helps people know where to invest and trust in their decisions. If the current trend of Ethereum is to go by, its price in 5 years will be very high.
After reading a lot of predictions, I think I will buy and hold ETHER. 5 years is not a long time to reap the benefits.

Some said $1000 in 5 years will be abit pessimistic, it is now reached $400, I think it should not be hard to reach $1000 by next year.

Ethereum in 5 years? I said a lot of thing gonna happen, but still, eth cannot compare with btc. Eth price maybe grown up, but bitcoin always leading forward. The point is, ethereum in 5 years will touch it's highest price, follow by many improvement with this platform  |

In 5 years i hope that ETH will have a high price and i think of a price of at least 2k. If that is going to happen a lot of people will have a good profit just because they have invested in ETH.
Its already the second best coin on coinmarket.

This is what I'm thinking now. Ethereum should get to $2000 in 2022 and this won't be a big thing for us. Because the whole market will keep growing like crazy from now on. This is very normal for ethereum. |

I think that in 5 years many of today's projects will die. And there will be only global. In addition to BITCOIn, the leader of this will be ethereum. I think he has huge potential for growth. It will switch to POS before 2022 so next 4 years we can see exponential growth.
2018 > $1000
2020 > $5000
2022 > $10000
Mark my words. 1 trillion dollar marketcap in 2022.

That could happen after the next major update. Which update?? I think in 2022 the solid price of ETH will be around 1000$. It will rise, but just very slowly. And they will be some 50 dumps inbetween. |

You need to use online calculators for miners to understand the exact answer. It's hard to make ethereum mining, but it's still profitable when you think about the current high price of ethereum. |

Well, this is just my own opinion. 1 ETH could possibly equal to .5 BTC, it may happen because of the number of users and other altcoins who uses ETH as a form of payment or platfrom for their ICO's or maybe not since we cannot control the market and I believe no does. Just like I always say, I am a supporter of ETH and that's what we need to do for us to ensure that the value will rise in the next years.

Ethereum definitely has the potential to eclipse $1500 in 5 years.
As you can see, the number of transactions on the Ethereum blockchain has been increasing exponentially. Cryptocurrencies, like social networks, have extremely strong network effects and once adoption reaches critical mass, growth tends to accelerate exponentially, not linearly.

Eth will be stronger in 5 years. It would be a quantum leap, more people would be aware thus community support will be more. Eth price will reach $1500.
