It's very interesting and attractive to look at the coin that appeared just recently. A fairly promising project is 1.Kalkulus, further I would put a 2.Deeponion and 3.GoByte (because of the high price).

I think decentralized coins will be invaluable in 2018. Decentralized projects attract attention. I have shaped my investments according to this reason. |

Lots of people are asking for a decentralized exchange, they dont even know that Waves DEX exists already. Waves didn't even pump yet, the satoshi price just increased together with all the other altcoins. Buy wall on bittrex is only at 50 BTC (wtf?). One single whale could easily double the price very fast. People also dont even realize that Waves has the fastest blockchain atm with WavesNG technology.

Monero has better cryptographic technology for anonymous payments and also a better development community than DASH in my opinion. Yet it only has half of the market cap. So for me this is a obvious buy.

Ethereum looks like a good bet for 2018 I think the flippening can happen with ethereum, one day the marketcap will be bigger than bitcoin, you hear it first guys. I dont think Bitcoin Proof of work is going to work long term, it consume too much energy. that's why ethereum 2.0 will be proof of stake

I think that people should invest in ETH or NEO, because this is really a high cost altcoin, and it has been applied a lot in the world. In 2018, the prices for these two altcoyins are likely to compete directly with the BTC

My picks for 2018: - XVG Verge (it's correcting currently, so it could be an opportunity to buy now before the next rise in 2018) - ETN Electroneum (once they finished their mobile miner price should start to rise sharply) - ARDR Ardor (Main chain starts in Q1 2018 and price is already rising steadily) |
Bitgesell (BGL): A modern and truly scarce store of value. Burn rate is 90% of tx fee. Yearly block reward halving.

My favorite project for 2018-2019 and many more years is Bitcoin. Because it is the brand face of this market. And it looks like it will be like that for many years. It can be included as a crypto and digital gold.
As for the Altcoins, Ethereum and Zec are the ones who will first get independence from Bitcoin's kingdom.

My experience 2017 and what I think about 2018.
I do not invest in ICO's again. I only made losses at the ICO's this year. (example Polybius (10$ each Coin on ICO), ARTE ) . I'll wait until I see the coins on the market and observe first.
My best experience 2017 is with existing coins that are already listed somewhere and have a very active community and DEV's. ( PIVX, STRAT, WAVE, ARK)
In 2018 I see this potential at POSW and UNIFY. I have been observing them for some time and they are currently growing strongly in the areas of community, the teams behind them and what's behind the coins.
I think in 2018 I will pursue the strategy: Never ICOs, first observe how the coins develop then compare and then invest.
And there will certainly be more coins that are worth it! POSW and UNIFY are only the start of 2018

Ripple and IOTA are also interesting.
Not to invest too much money but take a look on them
Both are very good investment but those are long term investment only. In short period you can't make profits with those coins because in the year 2016 I have invested in ripple and now I am making profit on it. |

It's depends on your knowledge to investment in ICO, I see some of ICO is success after launch in the market like CINDICATOR the price of ICO is $0.01 and after launch at exchanges the price is increase to $0.02 and now, the price of CND is $0.05 |

I believe ARK and KOMODO are going to be huge in 2018. Ark to $50, komodo to $100 by year's end. XTRABYTES might also kick IP some dust. Been doing good during the past few days and will soon enter the CMC top 100. New innovative tech. Undervalued in my opinion.

Ethereum is a true outlier and it is the only crypto-currency believed by experts to be able to overtake Bitcoin Market cap in the near future. Ethereum started in 2013 and had 40x growth rate over the last two years.
