Quote from HEAT's first medium post:

HEAT has a little to lose and a lot to gain in the next months. Starting in Jan- Feb, the overdue technical updates and co-operation releases include:

mobile wallet
EUR gateway(s)
major ITO launches on HEAT (funding in HEAT / BTC / EUR /ETH)
smart vouchers
company options and shares sale
We got the following message from one of the coolest HEAT fans on facebook:

?HEAT

Sleeping giant in 2017
Awaken giant in 2018?

We take this as an omen. You might want to do likewise!

We?d like to thank the Heat Ledger Ltd staff and contracted acquaintances for a very exciting and progressive 2017, and extraordinarily fantastic 2018:

Why does the main heat site only list svante and Dennis this gives the impression you guys are running heat out of your mum's basement, ok you might operate out of home office's could the main site be updated with the current team hopefully not a long list of anons like beefy213, and sumowedgie but real people,

Also the site looks a bit clunky and outdated with all the different backgrounds overlaid and the big icons. Is it possible the site could be overhauled in the not too distant future just toned down to look slick and trustworthy (eg. ark, waves, vechain), simple refined with some graphics but a less is more approach.

The new website will be up any time now.

@devs

I have withdrawn .51 BTC from the heat platform on the 30th which has not yet arrived, the transactioID is as followed; 7604474667841605054. A newer transaction of .19 BTC has come through, this is the reason for contacting. Please advice.

Cheers

Forwarded it on slack, hopefully it will get resolved soon.

Thanks for your answer but I cant join since HEAT reached its user limit.

So please @Devs, help me out on this one

This has been my favorite project. 5% monthly and constant development along with stock options at some point, so exciting. A cut above the rest.

Yes, it is very easy. Click the burger menu in the top right and select lease.
Heatpool is the site I use.

HEAT WALLET 2.4.0 | Windows and Linux desktop

This desktop wallet release embeds the 2.4.0 server version which is a mandatory update. If your wallet does not use the built in server (default behavior of the wallet is to connect to a remote API node) you could still use that but you'll lack the client side (UI) improvements.

Note

The virtual order matcher (instant asset exchange order feedback) is still disabled, we are enabling that in the next wallet update. Because of this you have to wait until the next block (30 seconds) to see your balances updated and to see orders matched and trades made.

When the virtual order matcher is enabled we'll update the web based wallet on https://heatwallet.com and put out a new wallet release.

About the HEAT LEDGER 2.4.0 server

This is a hard fork, a mandatory update of the HEAT network. This update fixes a bug introduced in 2.1.0.

The hard fork will take effect at block 956000.

Nodes below 2.4.0 can not be used to forge in the main HEAT chain.

API Information

https://heatwallet.com/api/#/

HEAT SDK

https://www.npmjs.com/package/heat-sdk

Changes

  • Updated default properties to always perform a scan and validation on every startup.
  • Set remaining balance limit of 0.01 HEAT for ask orders of HEAT due to large number of accidental account drainings and subsequent asset withdrawal incapacity

Get it here

https://github.com/Heat-Ledger-Ltd/heatwallet/releases/tag/v2.4.0

Mac release will follow.

Any updates on Mac release?

I have decided to start running a pool for HEAT due to some small network issues lately. Hopefully we can gather a few big accounts in this pool and give the network the needed stability. The pool will function with a flat return rate, starting with 3.5%.

More info can be read here http://www.cryptocurrencies.fi/news/cryptocurrencies-group-opens-a-pool-for-heat-forging/.

I will build a separate page for the pool. Some possible profits from the pool will be used to community projects.

Happy forging heaters!
