Has McGregor started trash talking yet?  I'm looking forward to that more than the bout itself.  We all know this is really all a dog and pony show to make money on the fans off both MMA and boxing.  Still I hope Mac vs May will still put on a good show.

And what are the under cards of this event?  I think they should promote more MMA vs boxing matches in it.

The only thing Floyd has seen is 9 figures. Floyd said he would never fight again for less than 9 figures, and Conor is the only deal that generate that kind of money with the less risk. Fighting GGG or Lomachenko would be too much.

Well this is a boxing match and i think mayweather has an upperhand for the tactics and tricks to be used. MCgregor may be fierce in the UFC but wayweather can manipulate boxing rules for the years he has been boxing. Probably mayweather will again to play in a smart way rather than just go and punch and use force. In what i see if the enemies is famous or really strong he just try too get in the mind of his enemy and try to annoy him if possibel then he would make moves for offense. On the other hand mcgregor is uses feet in his battles so i think some of his ufc reflexes will be restrained thus disabling some of his mental awareness if ever he would think he is about to disobey rules. But i would want to see mcgregor win for this one.

Mayweather haters make me laugh. To do what he did 49 times takes a special skill. If it was as easy as "running" you would be a multimillionaire boxing success too. I've been in the ring with a professional (for sparring session) and I got outboxed (and im not a noob). This gives you perspective to see how Mayweather outboxed 49 professionals while remaining undefeated.

Mayweather gets both more money and more stardom than fighting Pacquiao again. Conor is a bigger attraction than Pacman, and Mayweather vs Conor will sell more tickets than Mayweather vs Pacman did. It will break all records. You would need to be a retard to pass on this deal.

Boxing is business you have to understand that. That is why he is willing to put his "legacy" in the line. Mayweather already know that he can beat McGregor with his boxing skills. So winning the fight and generating billions of dollars will be the main reason why Mayweather will fight Connor. He doesn't need to fight Pacman, he already defeated him.

I really like these sort of match up,but i think it is too much to handle for Conor and that too facing the greatest defensive boxer of all time.What i respect about Mayweather is that he is a clean fighter,which means he never uses drugs nor uses alcohol,basically he is not a junkie and he is constantly practicing and working out with his students,so i do find it hard to see Conor win,but he might land some punches which could surprise Mayweather and i am sure if Mayweather schools him then Conor might use his round house kick.

Conor needs to KO him in the first couple of rounds while Mayweather tests him to read his game and adjust. In MMA you keep a massive distance compared to boxing because of the kicks and takedown attempts, in boxing it's much closer, so if Conor sticks to MMA type pf distance and tries to be awkward to confuse Mayweather, he will need some rounds to adjust.

The interesting statistic that I would need to know is how many opponents has Floyd fought where he didn't had the reach advantage, because Conor has the reach advantage in this fight.

I don't see how Mayweather can lose this fight. He is such a well-trained boxer and has been a top professional all his life. Besides, he can always rely on his superior defense if he's ever in trouble.

The bigger question is, if this fight is not purely for entertainment, then why not have Mcgregor fight in with some of the better boxers first in real matches? That way, people can gauge if Mcgregor really does have the ability to match Mayweather.
