The buildup to this fight is unbelievable and hilarious. Paulie Malignaggi is still talking and everything he's saying is still entertaining to me. Jeff Mayweather was interviewed and said Conor's boxing looked like trash in his sparring clip with Malignaggi where some said it was a knockdown and others said it was a push down.

I wish we had fights like this more often. It makes everything else in boxing and MMA to an extent look boring.

I do not reckon that Conor has no chance. He has a chance, any boxer does. But the problem here is most of the casual followers of MMA and boxing do not realize is that his chance is bigger than expected.
 

Im no casual when it comes to boxing, I casually watch MMA. I never said Conor has no chance, he has a certain chance... I don't believe comparing boxing to MMA is like pretending that a pro-basketball player has a chance against the boxing world champion. Both sports obviously share a lot more stuff than other sports.

Conor can do it, he has that 1 on 10 chance, but Conor fanboys are annoying.

Also, you got to realize that Paulie is out of shape, and that that was 9 seconds vs a complete 12 round session.

Paulie is also claiming that the video does not show the whole picture. If the whole 12 rounds is released everyone will see what really happened, according to him.

I do not know who to believe in anymore. Mayweather also said that he will not be defensive in this fight and that he will be on the attack from the 1st round, which we know is a lie. He also mentioned that he now wants to use 8 ounce gloves.

Agree. Tons of money will be spent on this fight. The odds are totally against Mcgregor, I dont think its worth to bet on Floyd with such odds. I will put a small amount on Mcgregor.

Where do you saw a fight like the main event of both fighters just for laugh? Mcgregor is not a boxing but his ppwer punches and his agility can be match to Floyd. We can't say that it was an easy win.

I think Paulie Malignaggi is going to make more money thanks to this fight where he isn't even fighting at than he did in his entire boxing career. He has got tons of exposure and he has landed a good job in Showtime as a commentator.

Now imagine if Conor McGregor and Paulie Malignaggi did an actual fight. It wouldn't be as huge as Floyd vs Conor but it would easily make more money than anyone he could ever fight at the UFC. And McGregor has his own promotions company now so he could do it.

There have been crossover fights already where a boxer went into UFC. James Toney vs Randy Couture is the one I remember and James Toney got his ass whooped into submission. But then again as far as I know James Toney didn't train properly, and he looked like he came out straight off McDonalds.

After august 26th I doubt Floyd will bother to fight again. Unless there's a 9 figure payday, then I think he might actually try an Octagon fight. What matters is his boxing record, I think think the would care about an MMA loss.

He cannot fight more than 5 rounds and I'm sure he will finish if the fight will last for that round, and I think Mcgregor bite this fight due to money since he still earn big eventhough he will be beaten by floyd. The commission also announced it has chosen Reno, Nevada’s Burt Clements, Las Vegas’ Dave Moretti and Italy’s Guido Cavalleri as the judges for their Showtime Pay-Per-View main event. So we have one non-American judge here which is Italy’s Guido Cavalleri, I think this is part of McGregor's camp to have at least one judge who is not stateside. I also agree that at least they can't call anything 'biased' if all judges scored the bout for Mayweather. LOL

Nope i don't think there's ever going to be an mma match betweem these two. Floyd's too smart for that and he doesn't even need it. And people are downplaying connor's chances too much. He's been proving people wrong all the time. Let's see how it will play out. He's a champion in his.own rights also so i think it won't be as easy for floyd to beat him

You have to remember that they are fighting in Floyd Mayweather turf not Conor's. How did he proved people wrong? I don't see any fight that he is the underdog and never won. Also Diaz proved the invincibility of Conor but no one has proven how to beat Floyd yet in the ring. I know he is a live dog here but I doubt the can pull the plug out of Mayweather here. Floyd too smart and I guess he will go for the KO.

If you just want to talk in Gayweather's favour ,please do but don't come up with irrelevant logic to support your opinions.Attack has never been Gayweather's game so regardless of the gloves,he's still going to run around like a rat.On the brighter side,McGregor is known to punch non-stop until the target is down.I can't wait to see him taking this rat down.
