Well, I've already decided to hold on to a certain amount that I will not sell, no matter what. Guess we'll just have to see whether it was a great or stupid idea. People lose money all the time, you need to take some risk to get anything.

Bitcoin falling its value doesn't mean you have to panic or move into other coins. You can consider this event as an opportunity to buy bitcoins. We must hold on to bitcoin because from all the coins bitcoin is a really promising currency though other would contradict with us.

Yes right the price of bitcoin is falling you do not panic to see the price that its price is going to falling and suddenly you sell all the bitcoin or you move other untrusted coins and say that bitcoin will be going to dead, that is not a good way because bitcoin is a very trustful currency and it will not goes to down permanently its price is depend on demand if its demand is high its price will be increase and its demand is low its price will be low so if its price is going to low you do not panic and hold bitcoin for long time or and invest your money .

No need to panic will the bitcoin is fluctuated. It is normal that bitcoin falling in lowest value of it. Bitcoin is unpredictable there are time that bitcoin reach the higher price day to day. This scenario happened before.

Your friend Preev.com is an extremely fickle lover. I hope you didn't get rid of your coin, because only a couple days after OP we're back up to $2,700 a coin with raises and increases in sight! I have alwayss said that my advice iss holding onto as much bitcoin as possible for as long as possible; try not to get fooled by the profit of today and look much further! Alt-coins will come and go, but bitcoin is our longevity monster.

Bitcoin price fall and increase is common, everytime during the fall people will be getting panic and used to sell low missing the profit. With bitcoin one need to have patience to profit rather than selling on panic. In markets, always there would be some people who are buying and selling and triggering panic to make of the people to rush for buying and selling too. This is just another part of trading and you cannot blame anyone.

Correction in bitcoin is over, at least that is what I feel looking at the charts. I feel bitcoin can rally past $3000 soon and it is time to get into bitcoin if you have sold them. Some alt coins have also corrected yesterday because bitcoin started to show strength and smart money is shifting back to bitcoin. Nevertheless, it is still good to have positions open in promising altcoins such as litecoin, SNGLS, ETH, ETC, ICN, VSL,NXT...

Well the price of btc has recovered well already after the correction and is still hovering around 2.3k to 2.5k so i don't think there's any need to be worried. The newbies who panic sell will eventually learn their lessons and will buy back again though it may be at a higher price already.

There is absolutely no reason to panic. A few months ago, the keepers of bitcoins was wondering whether the price of 2500, and now in the fall to 2100 panicking. So long-term investments do not. There are always speculators who are bearish and want to buy cheap coins. Those who panic have nothing to do with bitcoin.

The drop of bitcoin is used only to buy coins at a low price in order to make a profit later. Only beginners or too cowardly can panic sell their coins and not earn.

Good thing for those who didn't get panic. It's already $2656 now at bitstamp and it seems slowly rising. If there are fall of price don't get panic just because of that. It will recover sometime for sure and that is proven, and that is the how the price movement works. It's common.

I absolutely agree with you, that has been the trend lately if you've been following Bitcoin so I guess some new panic sellers have learnt their lesson, I will also speak to the OP to either edit or start a new thread with the heading "Bitcoin is rising"
