Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency

Cryptocurrencies are better than the regular fiat currency for so many reasons, no central controlling body, low fee (This is now an issue), no government intervention (This is also an issue) and so many other ways to make mankind independent.

Independence means there's nobody to turn to if anything goes wrong. No shoulder to cry on if you fuck up.
I've noticed people have became very childish, unable to make their own decisions, and this is a huge issue for them. I'm happy that Bitcoin came up now, because 50 years from now people would be unable to use it. We'd be so brainwashed that independent money wouldn't have a chance.

Cryptocurrency is tranparent, accurate and can be counterfeit. But there is note, not all cryptos are with these features, only stable and backed by reputable dev represent those transparancy and accuracy besides seccurity. We still need fiat however because most people still use fiat but for digital communities cryptos are better than fiat. Fast, easy, transparent, secure, and other features we can get from cryptos. I ask you " Do you stil use fiat to do online transaction?"

Better in what way? For buying stuff they aren't better, but I do think the capacity to hold them in a wallet on your computer is quite a nice attribute.

Bitcoin is not special at all other than being a decentralized currency, take that away from it and you will have nothing but a regular currency yet much easier to set up your account and getting started, you can't open a site and after a few clicks obtain "regular currency" you can't store the regular currency as easy as with Bitcoin.

Bitcoin is better but we need both, because bitcoin has not been recognized in my country so I need both, if bitcoin had been legalized in my country I would definitely use bitcoin as a means of payment.

Both yes and no. Yes, if there is abundance of cheap internet and awareness amongst the masses. No unless we can buy our daily needs and pay in crypto currencies. However, as the world is progressing with easy internet availability and the common people become more and more aware about the easiness of crypto, a day is soon to come when everyone will find it to be better option.

No, unless society is used with cashless/electronic payment method and most people have smart device with internet connection. Also, cryptocurrency is practically useless in poor country.

Not mentioning those countries with very very slow connections. Third world country is not ready with this prodect yet and smartphones are considered to be expensive in the third world. Because of slow internet connections and low quality of education people in poor countries barely know about how cryptocurrencies worl and what cryptocurrencies is. Maybe it can be used in countries like UK and Japan but some people are not ready for this yet.

Cryptocurrency were much better since it will help is alot in gaining and saving profits that banks, but we still need to have our real currency for our needs and everyday use.  Both have their own specialists and we still need them both.

In terms of investing and the price yes but in lot of aspect like usage and spending it I will go for the regular currency because the regular currency is more easy to use and open to all and besides all of people are using it whether you are child or adult. So I will go for the regular currency.

We need both, althought cryptocurrencies can help for make transaction fast, cheap fee, privacy and security but some people old year old or poor country not know it and how to use! Regular currency very important and easy for use.
About crypto, I think it will help young children can buy online without credit cards, this is good for them if they want buy any things but not old enough for have credit cards (I was one of them )

It will become valuable when you convert it to fiat then you can tell yourself that you're rich.

Bitcoin is my opinion is the better one it is also the newer one as the oldest set of cryptocurrency at 8 years so it does make me lean towards voting with the option we need both at least for now and into the future as a hedge against any issues with any one currency. It's part of the reason there are multiple currencies in the world and even now in cryptocurrencies in case something effects one it will effect but not destroy the others. Hence diversification

For the time being, I'll have to say that this is the prevailing view. Whether we care to admit it or not, it's the fiat value of crypto that is getting us on board. Remember when Bitcoin was worth next to nothing how it was just given away, lost and forgotten.

The fact that its fiat price keeps us busy earning and mining should tell us we prefer fiat, for now anyway.

This is true for now. But in future will this hold the same value as of now is unknown. Also this currency is not being approved by the world. So it could only work in some countries while in other country it may have no value.

Have you tried forex trading,if not try that once.The risk involved in crypto currency investment are really huge,if you look at the volatility level you will understand what i am talking about,but if you are careful enough and has the ability to risk some dime then it might give you a good profit,the irony is,you need fiat currency inorder to invest in crypto currency ,so you need both to make a good investment and vice versa.

Cryptocurrencies are better than traditional currencies in the sense that some of them have additional features. Eg. being able to be used as store of value due to their deflationary nature.

They are worse than traditional currencies by being much more volatile which is something you definitely don't want from your day-to-day currency.

Bitcoin is better only because you can make money on its growth, but where there is no internet it will be completely useless.
