Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency

Not really, because if you look how much fee was for sending bitcoin when we had over 190 000 pending transaction per day.. Now imagine that everyone start using bitcoin instead of fiat or credit cards. Visa handles 140 million transactions per day. And second thing why cryptocurrency isn't better then regular currency is that price constantly change, today you have $100 and tomorrow $120 or $80.  So I think that cryptocurrency still didn't ready to replace regular currency.

At our current state, I think we need both crypto currency and regular fiat money. Crypto currencies will get better when the entire society starts to use it as currency. But this change cannot be made over one day. That's why we need both.

It could be but it can’t be this time. If bitcoin can be use like credit cards or other wireless payment it could happen but if you use bitcoin as a payment online, you have to pay its fees which is not advisable.

My answer Is we need both because bitcoin ate we use to investment and to use a payment. But we need too our own currency to buy are needs too. They are both big help in our daily lives. They are both useful, but cryptocurrency is just new and it will take time until people will start using now.
Now, there are people using but it's risky if the one who will use did not understand the risk, maybe until the time the market will be stable, we can bring

In my opinion, if this thread is a comparision between cryptocurrency and credit card or some virtual money can use for payment like Paypal, Advcash or Perfect money, it is more interesting than compare to regular currency. Because first of all, cryptocurrency can not use without internet connection, it means regular currency, included paper money, has more advantages than cryptocurrency to using for daily.
