I would like to suggest you that Don't use your Bitcoin instead of this you should hold for 10 years because I am 100% sure that the price will increase from long time , if you can see at the prediction made by the experienced people than they said that in the last of 2020 the price of the Bitcoin will be 10000$ which is really a big amount , so if you can hold 1 btc then you can turn into your money in three times .
But moreover if you want still use it then invest in the stable coins and then see what will happen in one year , with the increase in the amount of your Bitcoin you will also get more Increase in the value.
So my suggestion for you is to hold not use for fun purpose currently .

I really appreciate your decision to spend the bitcoins as you are indirectly contributing to the growth of the network as I believe, the movement is a growth. I would recommend you to go with topping up your mobile plans, paying DTH/Internet bills using bitcoin service (without converting it to the fiat). Do not convert it to the fiat unless you badly need the fiat currency. You can also invest your bitcoins directly into the stocks, indices, forex & commodities using services like 1broker.

Agreed--people need to spend their bitcoins in order to bolster the bitcoin economy. That has played a role in the spike in value.

If people invest bitcoin into stocks, and then the value of bitcoin depreciates, what happens to the stocks? Do you still retain the same number of shares?

I think it is best to save up to s certain amount and always keep that amount for the future. Spend what you have now but always keep that little bit so basically well passing Bitcoin back and forth between ourselves for varies services. We can all grow together through work and getting things done as well as finically.

Agree, Actually that's what I am doing since past few years. I save and hold my 50% of the coins in cold storage and I try to spend my remaining 50% coins but since we don't have that kind of infrastructure for the bitcoin expenditure, I could never hit the limit of 50% spending. There is not a single merchant in my town accepting bitcoin against goods or service (other than Bitcoin traders). Spending helps the remaining portion to grow in terms of value so, in fact, we can get something for absolutely free considering the long-term growth. So to be honest we shouldn't blame the guy for spending 10K bitcoins for the pizza because it is something that introduced us to the infinite possibilities and the further growth.

Hello OP, I just want to inform you that it is really not a good idea, spending you bitcoin to buy things that you want or need because you are going to lose the profits that you are going to have if you are going to hold your bitcoin in the long run. Maybe converting first your bitcoin in fiat first is not that bad afterall, but if you are going to convert your bitcoin, make sure that the price of it is fair enough to convert some.
