I have been waiting for Bitcoin to reach $3000 so that I can sell my Bitcoins, but seems as if it doesn't want to reach that value anytime soon. SHould I sell with the current amount?

Yes it seems that bitcoin prices do not want to reach $ 3,000 in the near future. Moreover, the current price is down to $ 2,400, it will take much longer to be close to $ 3,000. I suggest for now do not sell because the price is down, it will be a loss. It would be better to buy some and hold it until the price goes up, and when the price goes up you can sell. Yes, the price could be hit definitely. But I don't know when. We are almost end of June so I doubt it can touch this month. But I'm positive that in July we are going to hit that elusive price that we are all been waiting for. Just need patience or our end and for sure it will be like euphoria when this price is touch.

I think it is coming close, it is now at $2300, it is dumping now because the people are thinking that the price of bitcoin will going to flop so they sold their bitcoins at $2700. I think after the month of August, bitcoin will be going to pump maybe breaking the wall price of $3000. Maybe we can see $3500 at the last month of 2017.

Once August comes we will easily see $4000, the pump will be intense once everyone realizes there will be no real fork.

Yeah and I regret not buying at $250 back in 2013-2014. I could have been rich if I had invested my money there. Ten times richer only if I did buy even just about 10 bitcoins. Now 10 bitcoins are looking like a far away dream that I can't reach for a long time. I need to work hard to get to 10 bitcoins. My Lord, what a pessimist! In the case if you don't know bitcoin had price 3000$ already and that was three weeks ago. And it's ridiculous that you think that bitcoin never come again to such price. Everything is saying that we will see a new bigger raise in a month after SegWit. it already crossed the 3000$ limit. and hope that very soon it will cross that limit again. i do not know why if have decided to sell your bitcoin at that price when it reached to 3000$ in previous time, but i think very soon the price of bitcoin is going to cross that limit again you should wait for some time but i will advise you that if you can hold your bitcoin for some time you should wait for that and hope that you will bet more good profit from you expectation.

Join the club, I figured by the time price hits $3000 I'd go and do some day trading at least that way I can earn some profit instead of just holding my coins in my wallet. if you all remember when price was somewhat stable around $1200 for a few days? after that it started to rise and rise until now.
For few days now price is stable around $2500 what if it starts to rise from here up to $4000?
I think now is the best opportunity to buy some coins because if it wanted to drop to sub $2000 it would've done it already.

It already goes higher than $3700 last May when Japan implemented btc ,the demand for btc were skyrocketed. The pump hype were too fast that day and in the morning it dumps little by little, i'd been watching the price that time suddenly going $2000 .

Could it possibly mean that if the Australia legalize bitcoin this coming month would the price of btc will hit again around $3000?

The safest, and in my opinion probably the smartest decision would be sell now.

If you bought in pre-halving then you would have quadrupled your investment or even more in some cases in a short timespan of a year. So even though you missed out on the ATH as an opportunity to sell, you're still getting a decent amount now.

I'd expect pre-UASF a week or so the price will drop dramatically as a result of people panic selling. So therefore, if you're in bitcoin for the long run, then you should sell now, and buy when the price dips down pre-1 August.

I have a feeling though that we'll see another pump, hopefully breaking $3000. There has been much sideways movements the past few days, probably meaning that we're retesting 3k.

I half agree with you. If you want to be super safe while earning at least something, it is advisable for you to sell it now instead of waiting. But in the current market, there is a high potential for the price of the bitcoins to increase around next 2-3 months but also remember that this decision involves a huge amount of risk. Since the market is somehow unpredictable, always give room to the unexpected circumstance. But I strongly believe that this is the best time to buy BTCs and sell it some later time due to the prices being low.

It seems to me that the forecast can be even more optimistic. If everything goes as well in the future, then by the new year we will see 4000 - 5000 dollars for bitcoin.
