That depends on how you see the coins today dude. If you can observe any coins that are in a downward trend, check the charts. If a coin plunged downward then it's probably time to buy in. Most coins almost certainly would regain momentum and recover. So for me its more important to know the right time to buy than to sell.

That's true even though it does not guarantee anything its worth the risk, its like double or nothing, if you refuse to acknowledge bitcoin as a great investment to take then you'll regret it and ends up having nothing but if you buy now even if the price is high you can still guarantee some profit when the splitting of blockchain happens.

Even if you have bought your bitcoins 1 year back this is not the best time to sell your bitcoins as price has gone down so if you sell now you will be not making good profits that can be possible if you hold it for some more time as even if people have bought at lower price their main intention would be to make best profits and that is possible only if they hold their bitcoins for next couple of months as everyone is speculating that the price of bitcoins will touch $5000 at the end of the year.

But ask yourself whether you want bitcoin or not, and if yes, then just go buy it.
Don't buy if you don't want it.
You can't time the market. You can not predict the bottom nor the top.
Then, after your first buy, you know your price point and you can start playing with it. Set marks respective to your buying point on when you want to buy more. I always buy more at 50 % drops from my initial point, if I still feel like it.
I also buy more when my expections have gone up 100 % but the price has only gone up like 30 %. Then that's a good deal to buy more at a 30 % increase.
If price has gone up 30 % but my expections of the technology have only increased 10 %, I will not buy more.
